“Nice and quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

Stayed here in janurary and after staying at the Cottages in august decided to stay with adi dharma again, this hotel is situated behind the Cottages just down the street, its in a good quiet location.
Its very quiet and the house keeping are always great, stayed in the rooms right infront of the pool which was always very relaxing. Room service was great so was the pool bar.
I'd more then happily stay here again.
Thanks again adi dharma for a great stay!

This hotel is situated withing walking distnace to many food store & nightlife.
Hotel seems fine but room is infested with so much of mosquito's & insect which kept on bugging us & leaving many marks on our little baby girl.Ant amt or repellant did not help.Breakfast was very basic and the only consseison for me was the egg station. They haf a small 24hrs cozy bar which was nice to chill out.Pol was rather small but hey ...it came with a cool sunken bar........Room service was ok but they missed our order on the 2nd night. This hotel is situated in a seculded area but within walking distance to many shop & entertain hubs in Legian.

Room Tip: I would say choose room on a higher level perhaps the mozzies will be away. Our room was 126 which...

My Husband and me stay here from 26 November to 8 December fin big Asia Trip, food nice very good, staff attentive and frandly. But we have problem with pool, always group in law chairs, makes it very hard to relax, but this is not fault of hotel, just busy! The one time we get chairs, sunbathing was lovely! Good Location tucked away, but access from Wina next door, also walk along the beach then through, but close at 10pm with bad security gaurd!. I would advise any couples or the old people to not stay here during November, we have annoying young Australians or English that make loud noise! They come in late and cause noise. One morning we stay in room from young english and they make loud knocking on door for almost 20 minutes! Asking for letting in but not, they shout from balcony and be loud! But overall good in different time of year!

We had traveled to Bali as two pairs of couples. Upon arrival at this hotel, we were greeted with smiles and wet towels to wipe our hands and faces. Check-in was a breeze and they helped us with the luggage. We stayed in rooms 314 and 315.

I'll list down the pros and cons of this hotel:

Pros:
1. Rooms were neat and clean with in-room safety deposit boxes available for usage.
2. Bathroom is clean as well and has a bathtub with shower heads and all the basic amenities/toiletries such as hairdryers, soap, bath towels, face towels & tissues).
3. There is a small refrigerator with 2 complimentary water bottles and a TV with 60 channels (including HBO, Discovery, Disney, etc etc...).
4. A balcony area with a coffee table and two chairs, great for relaxing and just enjoy the breeze.
5. Free Wifi at the lobby/cafeteria area.
6. Swimming pool with a swim-up bar right next to it, so you may enjoy your favorite drinks while taking a dip at the pool.
7. There is a 24-hours bar in the cafeteria.
8. We have tried the massage at the hotel, it was really good and probably better than most massage parlors in Kuta.
9. Good location. Kuta Beach is just a 15-20 minutes walk from hotel and they actually have free shuttle services to the beach (one way only), daily at these times: 8AM, 10AM, 2PM, 4PM, 6PM, 8PM. Make prior reservations as there are limited seats available.

Cons:
1. Mosquitoes. Lots and lots of them. Unless you have some mosquitoes patch on, you're gonna have a horrid time during your stay. Hot spots for mosquitoes: Lobby area.
2. Our room 315 have lots of mosquitoes (probably due to a noticeable gap in the room door). We have trouble sleeping at night. However, my friend's room next door (314) have no such problem so I can't say for all the rooms.
3. No lifts or escalators in this hotel. However, there are only 3 floors so it's not so bad.
4. Air-cons DO work but it will take sometime to cool the room.
5. Lots of flies in the cafeteria area.
6. On-going construction next door. Can get really noisy at times so try to avoid rooms nearest to the construction site.

Overall, great service, good location, clean and neat rooms and bathrooms. Great value for the price you pay for it. I would give it a 4-5 star review if not for the mosquitoes problem.

Traveled and stayed from 23-26 May 2012.

Room Tip: 1. Avoid rooms 110-130, 220-230 and 320-330. These are nearest to the on-going construction next doo...

Dear PhuahSK

Thank you very much for giving us such a detail comment regarding your experience with us. First, about the mosquito, we have been working really hard to control the population of them here by doing weekly fogging, daily spraying in every corner of the hotel and regularly cleaning our fish pond and water tank.

About flies in the cafeteria area, it is due to the season change usually occurs around this month. Please do not worry about that as all the food and beverage processing have a high standard of hygiene.

About the construction next door, we do apologize about the noise caused by them. It is really out of our control, but we have already made agreement with them as after 18:00, there will be no more 'noisy work' allowed. For the moment, this is the best thing we could make to prevent guest being disturbed by them.

Once again, thank you very much for your comment here and I have brought this to our daily meeting so we could ensure your next stay with us will be much better.

We stayed here for 6 nights and it has been a pleasant experience. It's a short walk to Jalan Legian and not too far from Poppies Gang 1 & 2. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is a simple buffet set-up with an egg station. The only grouse we had was that the bathroom looks kinda dated but for the price we paid, we can't complain much. Oh yes, the pool is good, with a nice pool bar. But I'd prefer a bigger pool where I can really swim.

Dear BryanMah

Thank you for your time to leave a comment about your experience with us in here. I would like to apologize about the bathroom that you find it outdated. For the moment, 90% of our room has been renovated already, and the rest is still going on. By the time you come back to stay with us again, I am sure that all of our bathroom will look new and fresh again.

Once again, thank you very much for your comment. We are looking forward to welcome you again here in Adi Dharma Hotel.

Located on street back from Legian and half way between Poppies 2 and Melasti Street this hotel is in a great position to explore Kuta and Legian area. The hotel is basic but clean. Rooms have been revamped a little over the last few years, now have kettle and bathrooms updated a little. Brakfast is just average but has all that you need. This was my third stay here to use as shopping base and serves the purpose great. The pool does not have any steps just ladders, there is also a small kids pool with little slide. At the moment they are renovating pond and rooms on top floor, but the noise was not a problem.

Room Tip: Some ground floor rooms are right near pool with people walking past all the time. Ones in back wing...
