Rooms are very clean and compact. Staff so friendly and more than willing to help.Breakfast was a treat each morning, a good selection. Cocktails by the pool in the afternoon was also great. Hope to be back at Febri's very soon.

Stayed here in october with my family and grandchildren. This is my husband graeme and i fifth holiday at FEBRIS we realy enjoyed our stay again, you are made to feel so welcome by WAYAN in the office, front desk staff, restaurant staff in fact all staff.PAULAUS and his family will always find time in their busy day to stop and have a chat.We definitely will be back to stay again soon.SOME reviews are sad to read because you would have to be very fussy to not enjoy your self here.

Room Tip: Ground floor near pool, family suite at back of hotel excellent for family of four.

We have just got back from staying a week at the febris, great place to stay, rooms cleaned to a high standard every day and they did a special towel decoration for my boyfriends birthday, thank you Silca( I think that's how you spell his name). Breakfast was ample to set you up for the day and we had a few lunches which were really nice and well priced, the febris is in a great location to get to everywhere and there are a few fixed price shops just up the road. The spa is really good and all the ladies that work there are very good a special shout out to Eva who does an amazing lomi lomi massage and pedicure. We would not hesitate staying at the febris next time we are in Bali.

Stayed here with 2 friends in a triple room that was very spacious with everything we needed. This hotel is a very popular hotel with Aussie families and is always pretty busy. The pool area is behind the restaurant is very large with plenty of beds and shaded areas. The restaurant has a large varied menu and caters for even the fussiest of eaters. The hotel has an excellent spa connected as do the sister hotels Green Garden & Green Garden Spa all very reasonable and the services offered are excellent. The hotel is very good value for money is in a great location and the rooms are very spacious staff are held and friendly and keep the rooms spotless. This is not a hotel I would visit for any longer than 5 days with girlfriends. There is no Balinese atmosphere at this hotel but plenty of Bintang drinking singleted Aussies

Dear DebPerth_Australia,

Thanks so much for your recent stay; your generous review on the hotel is also much appreciated. I have put your review in the staff information board and they have been so delighted to read it.

You are correct that the hotel is popular with families from Australia. Many of them are from Western Australia that visit the hotel twice or three times a year on very regular basis. In fact, the staff & I have seen their children grow over the years and have become good friends with our children.

As Febri's Hotel has been well known among families travelling on budget, you are correct that the hotel does not have a lot of architectural Bali ornaments and traditional decor which usually are found in traditional hotels in Ubud or the older hotel operations in Kuta. Even our staff don't wear Balinese costumes anymore for their daily uniforms. Instead, they wear more casual & light clothings that allow them to move more freely in the hot & humid conditions. However, rather than the hotel buildings and costumes, I believe the Balinese feel should be transmitted more from the staff friendliness and courtesy, hotel services, cuisine, pampering spa treatments, etc. I guess the traditional Bali features are becoming quite a luxury for newer hotels in Kuta and surely becoming a greater challenge if the new hotels are within a budget category.

Regarding your comment on Bintang drinking singleted Aussies, they are not always around at Febri's Hotel but I can assure you that you will always find them in any hotel around Bali from time to time - even at sophisticated luxury hotels where celebrities stay. One thing that I can promise is that the management will not be hesitant to intervene at any time if their behaviours become disturbing to other guests.

On behalf of all the staff & management, I hope Febri's is given another opportunity to host you again on your next Bali holiday. Again, many thanks for your generous review on the rooms, spa, pools, restaurant and services by our friendly staff.

Sincerely,

Paulus Wibowo

This hotel is really good value for money. Situated within walking distance of Waterbom Park, it is well situated but out enough to be quiet. You won't find canopies over your bed, or a Balinese decor, but you will find good service, clean rooms and a sensational Spa offering, amongst other things, probably the best pedicure (called Glowing Toes) you will find anywhere. It was a great bonus to have wifi in our room. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Superior rooms that are around the pool catch WiFi.

We stayed at the Febri's for 8 nights with our 3 year old son. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel with no bali smells and clean mould free bathrooms. The grounds were also very clean and well cared for. Breakfast was nice but a little repetative. Although there is no swim up bar, service around the pool, is excellent and prices are very reasonable. I was a bit disappointed that the evening meal menu at the restaurant was the same as the room service/lunch menu and would have loved to seen some "special" meal nights (bbq, seafood etc). Location is good if you are into the Kuta scene and everything is easy to get to. Our son loved the playground and the famous towel animals. The hotel accomodated our room request and on our last day we were leaving early in the morning so they organised a breakfast box which was a nice touch. Would have loved the rooms to have DVD players.

Dear roxy35Perth,

Thanks for your recent stay with your family. I am glad to learn that you noticed the cleanliness of your rooms which is one of the many that Febri's Hotel is famous for.

Our room service menu is actually a brief version of our restaurant menu for lunch and breakfast. The ala carte menu in the restaurant has over 150 foods and 120 drinks to choose - from Balinese, Indonesian, Chinese, Italian, to general Western foods. Hence, I do not find the need to have special meal nights in the restaurant yet. You might have noticed during your stay that there were a number of regular patrons who stayed for 1 month and ate in the restaurant almost every night. The hotel actually has many patrons staying for several weeks and they do not find that the restaurant is missing for special meals with that extensive selection in the ala carte menu.

In addition, live music is available in the restaurant from 7 pm to 10 pm every night (either duet with keyboard or trio with guitars). Nevertheless, if guests would like to have a theme night with smorgasbord buffet, our Receptionists always suggest them to venture out the bigger hotels next door such as Santika Beach, Bali Dynasty or Ramada Bintang. Various independent ethnic restaurants are also located just a few steps away from the hotel: Indian, Italian, Greek, Balinese, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, etc.

The hotel rents out DVD players as outlined in the Room Directory (this player is not readily available in the guest rooms). At the moment, its daily rent is less than AUD 3 only (please ask your Room Attendant for details). While Mega Disc DVD store is located just next door from the hotel; this store is famous for being honest and helpful with clients' requests.

Again, on behalf of all the staff & management, I thank you for your stay and generous feedback. I hope Febri's will be again considered to be your hotel choice on your next Bali holiday.

Sincerely,

PAULUS WIBOWO

My family and i stayed here in march 2012, we had a great time, the rooms were cleaned daily, they were very roomy, we had a family delux room, the staff were very friendly and it was on the same street as water bomb park, which we walked to, about a 15 min walk, and the discovery mall, that was about 10 min away.. matahari,s was on the same road but we caught a cab, $2.. It was so central to every thing.. we had a ball, and even though we had never tried any where else in Bali, it was our first time, we will always stay there.. the dvd shop right next door, we had no problems with any of them and we bought heaps, just ask about the quality and they are honest..

Room Tip: Delux family rooms had there own little patio and chairs, was close to the pool.We had a king bed an...
