“Absolutely fantastic, best hotel i have stayed in at Bali”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2010

this was a fantastic hotel. we both loved it. our deluxe room was two steps away from the pool. rooms were modern with an outdoor shower, could not ask for anymore with the rooms. the hotel was a descent size & everything was accessible easily. breakfast in the mornings was great & the hotel had free internet which was really good!
definately recommend to anyone looking for a modern, clean hotel :)

The hotel is in a good location for the beach (400 metres) and shopping (10 metres). The rooms are well appointed, comfortable, have a nice outlook to the pool and are exceptionally clean. The pool area is excellent, regularly cleaned with enough lounges with shade even during the middle of the day. ALL staff were helpful and friendly and made an extra effort on occassions for us. We didn't eat there because there are good, cheap restaurants/warungs close by. We were a family of 4 in 2 rooms and the hotel organised adjoining interconnected rooms without difficulty. The free shuttle to Waterbom Park was appreciated and was punctual (you can buy tickets for Waterbom at the hotel - ours were cheaper than Waterbom standard entry prices). The safe in the room was very useful and the hotel felt secure. We had a few messages left at reception which were promptly delivered to us. All in all - A1.

Only stayed 3 nights and got a very good deal for airline staff although even at other rates that I found I still think it was good value. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would be nice to have more than 2 pillows but I am sure if I asked for more the staff would have been very obliging. Lots of restaurants and massage/beauty places nearby the hotel. Had the breakfast on the last morning only and not bad value although if you want to go for a walk there is plenty on offer.

Pool was quite nice but don't expect a big resort style pool.

Did not notice the 3 free internet terminals until my last day but internet cafes are very cheap.

I chose this hotel becuase I was a single traveller and so price was a consideration. I would choose again if travelling alone but maybe would chose somewere else if was sharing the cost.

I am not the kind of person that needs to stay in a 5 star hotel, so the All Seasons appealed to me. We stayed with our 10 year old son.
Arrived at 1.30 and had to wait until 2pm for check in, which was understandable.
So the boys went for a swim to fill in time. There was no elevator and up and down stairs when you are not on the ground floor becomes very annoying after a while.
The security staff were awesome and the wait staff were very friendly. Although I was very annoyed that I had paid for a coffee one morning (and tipped!) and then went out for the day. when i got home, the reception staff were on the phone straight away saying I didnt pay for the coffee - I was most annoyed about this - THREE phone calls they made and 2 visits to my room over a bleeding coffee! And I just refused to pay again. I did notice that this happened to several others whilst we were there.

The pool is adequate, but not overly child-friendly. My 10 year old fell over and copped quite a nice bruise.
The internet cafe is good and we had no dramas there.
Room was very spacious, but did not like the shower over bath set up (again dangerous for not just kids but also adults!). The balcony we had was spacious, but had no roof over it so our things got wet the first time it rained!

Location is good, just a short walk to the beach and shops. Mind you, the store owners drive you mental - I HATED shopping in Bali ... but thats another story!

The one thing that REALLY annoyed me most was we paid US$50 for a late check out. We went out for the day and got home at about 3pm. When we got to the room, they had deactivated our cards and we couldnt get in.... so back down a million stairs to find out what the hell was going on... they reactivated .... back up the stairs :(
I was very annoyed over that. Happy to take your money but not so happy to provide the service/product you paid for.

Our 10 year old was looking forward to pasta night at the restaurant - when we turnedd up there was no pasta night - they decided to cancel it because no one had booked? Very odd to advertise a certain themed dinner and not provide it, but this happened a few times that we were there so we ate elsewhere.

Beds were horrible too :(

Over all it was an ok hotel, but if I ever return to Bali (and I probably wont), I would look elsewhere.

My wife and I spent 2 great weeks holidaying in Bali and staying at All Seasons Legian. Strongly recommend this hotel. The staff, including Management were very friendly and willing to help in every way. The spacious rooms and the total hotel area was kept very clean. The pool was very refreshing particularly after a day out in the great Bali weather. The breakfast was more than adequate. The in-house meals were tasty and cheap. Will definitely stay again when we return

Cons:
The air-con in the room was not working even after repair. There were ants in the bathroom. The closet space is cramped. Towels were provided late after check-in. No extra bed was provided although booked as triple room. Breakfast ok but usually serves beef and no bacon. No lift to rooms of 3 storey hotel. Did not get pool facing room or non-smoking room as requested.

Pros:
Location is 10 min walk to legian beach. Shops and cheap spas nearby. Room and bathroom is clean. LCD TV with 60+ channels. Free shuttle service to waterbom park, near Kuta square, even on check-out day.

nighttime swims in the lovely pool after a nice meal not too far from the hotel, in the laneway beside the hotel have a massage and get your laundry done at the same time. massage at the hotel good also but dearer. the staff all through the hotel were so so friendly. the room was very comfortable we were on the 3rd floor overlooking the childrens pool, great spot as our balcony was one of the larger ones & didnt get the hot afternoon sun like some of them. this hotel was within a short walk to some great restaurants and shopping, turn left when you leave the hotels entrance and just down a bit on your left is our money changer, very friendly man i think called wayan who was honest and helpful, keep walking a little further & hopegully you will come across massage girls, we had a massage with cindy & sally very good & cheap 50,000 rph for 1 hour. at the end of the street is a restaurant called bianco, just beautiful & not expensive, posers pub on the opposite is great for a drink. we liked everything about this hotel breakfast nice, didnt want to leave. bercartormar.
