“Nice boutique hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

I enjoyed the stay there. Clean rooms with a pretty cool view of the courtyard pool area. I think the location is a little out of the way, but that can't be helped. The entire legian area was closed to cars on two occasions. The first was to accomodate new years eve pedestrial traffic. That started at 3 Pm. A bit extreme I thought, but as it were, we were trying to get back to our hotel by foot. The second time, rain. When it gets bad, apparantly the roads get closed. That was fun too.

Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I am also pleased to know that you had an enjoyable stay in our hotels and appreciate the cleanliness of our room and the view of our courtyard pool area. It is encouraging as our guests’ satisfaction is our primary concern.

We stayed in December..( my 16th time to Bali ).we mainly chose this hotel because of the price as we usually stay on the beachfront and our usual hotel was booked up.
The 3rd floor rooms are quite small....the bathroom tiny..but this doesnt really matter when you consider the whole picture. The room was kept spotlessly clean, the small pool was not very busy so you could enjoy a nice read. The breakfast was excellent, you could order what you wanted egg wise but few took up this option prefering what was in the warmed bain marie . We always asked for frothy milk and could have a free latte everyday which was lovely. Everyday I encountered happy friendly staff in every area , be it room cleaners, restaurant staff or reception.
These people clearly enjoy their jobs and it shows with excellent customer service skills.
The area was convenient for walking up to Padma St, and there is an honest money changer just outside the hotel to the right who gives competative conversion rates...taxi's drove past constantly so it was a good location to pick one up in 2 seconds...for $6-7 you can be in Seminyak in 10 min.
We walked along the beach to Kuta as the traffic is still slow and anyway, its nice to have a chat with the local lifeguards who are always friendly and love to have a conversation with the Aussies.
We booked a trip to Waterbom through the excursion desk right next to reception for around $22 including free shuttle there, spent a pleasant day lolling about under our own private cabana near the lazy river ( you pay extra for this once there...but worth it )..what a lovely relaxing day..and so cool compared with the hectic , hot outside areas of Kuta.
We ate at our favourite restaurants...The Pearl in Legian..in my opinion the best in the entire Legian/Seminyak area. Gado Gado for the lovely views, Potato Heads for a relaxing hip couchy experience with cool ubber music..and revisited Poppies Lane restaurant and had avocado prawns which we first tasted back in 1985 when Kuta was full of rice paddies!! Yes still a lovey little place.
Ahhh yes Bali...full of wonderful experiences...

Room Tip: Request one away from the front as passing cars could be noisy at night.

We stayed at this hotel in the last week of a 2 month trip to Bali and it was better than I expected. The staff were just lovely, the rooms were modern and clean and there was nothing we could really fault. It's a good value for money hotel if you're wanting to stay in the middle of Legian. Would stay there again.

Me n my husband with 1,5yo infant were stayed here for 2 nights.. Check in process was smooth but takes time too long to enter the room coz they were cleaning it after someone's check out ...

The room itself very nice, colorfull, spacious, clean, have a great balcony view, tidy n the bed is very comfy.. Surprisingly they provide a baby cot, one thing i've never found in another hotel we've been stayed before..

The location is good, a little shortwalk down to the beach n circle k is around you.. ATM n souvenirs shop also near the hotel.. A lot of bars but lack of restaurant choice, specially for a lil family with baby like us..

The staffs were very friendly, funky n always put their smile on their face whereever we met.. It really makes you enjoy your stay..

The breakfast was good but standart, with abf n local dishes choice.. Nicely they have baby highchair that helps us so much..

Overall, this hotel is very good n lovely hotel to stay.. Also its good value for money..
They give us a good rate whether we walk-in, no matter in a high seasons like new year seasons..

This was a really fantastic stay. Excellent room, excellent value for money, and a fantastic location - within walking distance from everything. The only thing that marred the whole experience, and caused me to only rate the hotel with three stars, is the front desk staff of the hotel. While the rest of the hotel staff shine in both service and their excellent command of English, the front desk staff can hardly speak Enlish (let alone understand it!). Right from our arrival, until final checkout, we experienced problems with the front desk staff of the hotel. Although I am an Accor Le Club Member, I was not treated as such by any of the front desk staff right from arrival until final departure. We were treated as criminals for paying upfront (with a credit card!) and then, whenever the room service "bond" ran out, were summoned (yes, summoned) to put down another "bond". Fot heaven's sake - take a bigger "bond" from the credit card the first time, or rather speak to your guests in a civil manner! I can only hope that now that Accor has taken over the hotel, that ALL the front desk staff will receive proper training on how to treat guests, in particular Le Club Accor members. Otherwise I can not fault this hotel, and ad a great time.

Stayed with friend. Quiet, cheap and good location for shopping and the beach. Would recommend to budget or family travellers. The pool area was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value and very cheap.
