My husband and son came across this little gem whilst waiting for my Mum and I to finish
shopping in Melasti Street markets. It is a new open air restaurant upstairs and across the
road from Garlic Lane. It is a nice change to be up off the noisy streets with an overview of the neighbourhood. The decor is so interesting as many of the features are made up of
recycled window shutters and wood from old boats. The toilets are beautifully tiled and absolutely spotless - which in itself is a bonus. The menu is extensive, with everything from
huge breakfasts for Aus$4.00, light snacks, traditional Indonesian fare and also western style
meals. There is something for everyone. One of the many standout dishes was the Seafood Sensation - which consisted of a wonderful range of seafood, beautifully presented. There is also a happy hour from noon to 7pm - with very cold Bintang. The staff are so lovely and friendly, even Ketut the chef will come out and say hello. Highly recommended.
