“Excellent dining in unusual location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

We dined here 3 times on our recent trip as a result of the excellent reviews here. First of all the food was excellent...my wife is vegetarian..no problem. The menu is varied and definitely geared to western tourists. The chef, Aris, is a very personable chap who has had a lot of experience cooking in restaurants in Australia and his certificates of training are on display. The kitchen area is scrupulously clean and the food is fresh and delicious, as are the range of fresh juices. I recommend the nachos and the fish and my wife just loved the fresh baguettes..(so unlike the usual sweetish Bali bread),,and the hand cut chips with a delicious gravy were a winner.

It's not fine dining..more café style..but it's worth hunting down this gem of a place...it's in a long street roughly parallel to Legian street heading away from the beach...not many tourists around in this area but we never felt unsafe...in fact it was interesting watching the locals go about their daily lives from the tables out the front.

We recommend hunting down this little gem of a place...good food and so so cheap.

“I can't believe it is the same place reviewed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013 via mobile

Fish the consistency of mash potato, ginger salad so over the top with ginger it was inedible. So disappointed after going there on recommendation of these reviews. Waiter and waitress seemed inexperienced . Wouldn't go there again. Very poor after eating at many of the places recommended which are excellent.

“Great tastes with Low Cost ^^”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

The warung name is very unique with great reviews. We were curious and try to find the location with smartphone. The decoration were nice and warm, the service very good and friendly. We had garlic bread, nachos, and portuguese chicken. I never liked chicken before, but they cooked them different, I loved it. full stuffed with amazing tastes, Wow, I love this restaurant :)
