“One night stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

Location is only ok for a one or two night stop over, access to shopping centre across the road, surf outlets etc. room itself is very worn, cracking window glass, mould etc. breakfast average... But with agoda rate worth it for a one night stop over.

I stay here with my family for transit to hongkong from bali. The room is big they upgrade me cause I arrive late in the night. Very nice hotel .. the purple decoration is the one I like. I remember "batik bath clothes and sandals" very nice touch. But the corridor is narrow.
The location next to kuta galeria mall, I love eat there many food choices compare to discovery shopping mall.
I love this hotel and will come back again..

This hotel has a clean room with dominant purple interior. Bath room is quite spacious with mirror in the ceiling right above the bath tub. The bed and sheet are clean. F&B is just standard. However I don't like the location which is the reason I give 3 stars for this hotel.

This is by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

Upon arrival the hotel was promising, we sat down at the cafe for lunch while they prepared our room and the food was great. It went downhill from the food.

The staff were uninterested, badly presented and the language barrier proved difficult. When we entered our pool view room (the view was of a concrete barrier) we first noticed a musty smell in one room and a shattered front window which was taped to provide support. The bathroom door did not close fully leaving a 15 cm gap and as we were travelling as friends this was going to prove a problem (there are some things you don't want to see your friends do). When we told reception they advised it would be fixed ASAP however it took a follow up call and about an hour before some body came to check. By this time we had approached reception to see if we could pay more to upgrade our rooms however we were told there were none available. We were then told it would be a 4 hour wait for them to fix the door so we went to our second room to leave our valuables before leaving the hotel to the convenient mall next door. Unfortunately the second rooms safe was leaking water through the lid which cascaded onto our passports.

We then approached reception and firmly asked for a change of rooms as they were uninhabitable. Reception said the problems would be fixed straight away but nobody came to the room for another half hour. The maintenance man simply lifted the safe from the cupboard and said he would replace it. I'm not sure about other hotels but I assume it should be standard practice to fix safes to the surface so they can't be stolen.

We then demanded to see the manager and asked for a full refund for our stay which was eventually accepted by the hotel after offering upgraded rooms which we were originally told were unavailable.

It is a shame the manager Victor didn't get involved from the start as he was quite pleasant and the problems would have been resolved from the beginning. However he assumed the problem was because the hotel was not near the beach which was not a problem for us as we had researched beforehand and knew the location.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were horrible with glass chipped mirrors, musty smell, broken windows, broken doors, broken safe. Thank god we got out of there and it only took 4 hours out of our holiday.

Stayed at this hotel for one week. (One week too long).
Pictures make this hotel look stunning, but on entry to the room we were quite surprised by the awful mouldy smell, and it really was not that clean, room needs major upgrade to the 21st century. Rooms in need of repair door handle on shower and shower tap fell off and safe not working..
We changed rooms twice, second day they decided to jackhammer in the room above us, they moved us like three doors up but the noise and the constant 24 hour disco music ounding from the pool bar was terrible, could not even. Hear our own. Tv. Once again they gave us another room this time on the 3rd floor, could not even see out the window as so dirty and room smelt once again. Rooms do not see daylight and no window can be opened.
Did not pay full price for this room as got on a special, so overpriced, bugs, ants in all rooms. Bathroom layout no good as nowhere to put toiletries.
Breakfast buffet same food every day, so many flies over fruit every day put us off consuming any of it. Hot water took 10 minutes every day to come through
Staff were more than nice, location only good for galleria across road, no cafes restuarants anywhere, taxi everywhere cannot walk anywhere to eat.
This hotel would suit young people who want to party all day, no good for families at all.......
