this is a gorgeous hotel to look at but when you enter the room there is a horrid smell and i dont know if its due to the fact you can't open windows or a door for air or the drains.they do offer a air fresher to plug in which does hide the smell. But the look as i said is awesome, bathroom is stunning bath was awesome room was clean well keep.
Now the prices in the pool bar and restaurant are way too high and found that almost no-one would buy drinks at the bar due to the plus tax and plus service fees as well as the price the cocktails came to almost $15 which is much dearer than any other hotel or resort we have stayed in bali..
Also the traffic getting in and out of hotel is very hectic.
good point was could walk across the street to the galleria shopping centre great for groceries (hypermart) and matahari... and free wifi at hotel is pretty good.

Room Tip: due to noise from the pool you do not want the bottom floor....

The hotel was as expected, typical friendly Balinese staff but so many annoying little things that equalled an overall disappointing experience. By way of example;

MEALS
- no butter one day at breakfast. Was told "out"
- tried on 2 different days to order a Singapore Sling from the bar menu but they were "out"
- ordered a hazelnut drink. Picture had ice-cream but was not in drink. Asked and was told "out"
- on 3 different days at breakfast there was chicken bacon & beef bacon????
- the breakfast menu included "fresh juice" which in fact was flavoured cordial (not squeezed from fruit)

ROOM
- no real wardrobe, plus no place to store suitcases
- stand alone pedestal basin. Looked lovely but no shelf or soap holder, so quite impractical
- swipe card would not work on 2 different occassions. Had to go to Recepton to have re-coded
- Called for laundry collection & was told "coming now". Called again, after waiting over half an hour
- Next day, there was no laundry order form or laundry bag left in our room to send any further laundry out
- Room constantly smells of mould as there is no opening windows. We had to buy a room deoderiser to try & counter the smell
- no towels left after room made up
- no soap left on two occassions, after room was made up
- housekeeping knocking on door even though "Do not Disturb" light was on
- tap in bathroom was always running, right from arrival & throughout stay

OTHER
- when you arrive by taxi, the security checks under vehicle with mirror. Very good, except at night the security go through the motions but don't use any light!

Room Tip: Pool facing can be noisy as Pool Bar plays music very loud until late

Stayed here from 13/02/2013 - 15/02/2013. A group of 8 people.

Check-in: Upon check-in around 2.30-3pm, we were told our rooms are still not ready yet. We were given 1 temporary to stay in and wait. We booked a total of 4 rooms. Got the keys to 2 rooms (322 & 318) at 4pm and another 1 room (314) between 4.30-5pm. The last room (320) was supposed to have honeymoon decorations done but nothing was done. So we had to wait again and only got to settle down in our room at 6.30pm. On day 1, they already ruined my day. Wasted lots of time in settling down. Very poor management.

Breakfast: There was a big variety of food but the taste is only so-so.

Rooms: Nice & stylish decors, huge bathroom, good rain shower, small bathtub, poor quality & dirty bedsheets that make us itch.

Swimming pool: The facility which we enjoyed most! The main pool was not suitable for kids or non-swimmers though as depth of pool is 1.65m from start to end. Pool bar was a great place to chill. The bartender, Ari is the most helpful and friendly staff in the hotel.

Staffs: Most staffs are friendly and always smiling. Ari, the bartender stands out with his helpfulness. I was however not very happy with Icam (the reception staff). He could have been more tactful when talking to me even though its my last day there.

We stayed at this hotel very recently. Hotel is located in front of a shopping mall with DFS Galleria, hypermart, etc. Room is clean and nicely furnished. Bathroom is huge!!! With a separate shower room, bathtub.

Hotel staff are super friendly and very welcoming. We were greeted warmly at the door when we just reached the hotel. Were offered welcome drinks, and cold towels.
The spa is not overly priced as some of other hotels do. Daily breakfast buffet is good, but the variety could be more i guess. Great hotel with great service. Certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We made the right choice moving to this hotel, after suffering our first night in Bali at the other "well-reviewed" hotel which is more expensive and rude.

We booked to stay here because of the close proximity to the airport. It's a new property, so I was expecting it would be quite nice and a good wasy to start our holiday in Bali. The lobby and pool look very nice, but the styling of the hotel is very strange...the hallways are dark, with white cushioning on either side, and lots of dark purple and sparkles...I felt like I was in a disco, rather than a hotel. Our room smelled like mothballs when we entered, not a pleasant aroma. It also looked like it hadn't been occupied in weeks, there was dust and dirt on the floor, and there was no soap or shampoo....they had forgotten to restock the room?! The sheets on the bed were very poor quality, the cotton was starting to pill and did not feel soft. This should definetely be improved upon, for the price of a stay here per night. The most impressive part of our room was the huge bathroom and shower. Having a TV in front of the bathtub seemed frivolous and unecessary, when there was a large one a few steps away in front of the bed. The pool was closed for maintenance, so we couldn't use it when we were there, which was a shame. The breakfast buffet was large, but the staff started taking things away at 10am SHARP, so don't be late! The hotel is right by a busy highway, and across the street is a mall, so if you have an hour or two to kill, it's convenient. The beach is not within walking distance. Overall, I was not satisfied with my stay here, the management can do better, and they should-if they want repeat customers.
