“Great hotel on the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed here over Christmas and had a great time. The pool is fantastic and the pool bar is a great place to meet new people and play bingo at 2pm, loads of fun.
The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are really comfy, almost too comfy (we missed breakfast a few times due to over sleeping !!)
The location is good, plenty of shops and restaurants close by.
The ONLY thing that let's the hotel down is WI-FI ! A 5* hotel should be able to provide high speed Wi-Fi when they advertise it. We constantly had to log in and in the room the Wi-Fi was often non existent.

Stayed at the Ramada Bintang Bali Resort in November, and have largely positive critique for the place. The grounds are brilliant and spacious, and its grounds keepers do an excellent job in maintaining a clean and enjoyable environment. In general, the staff (admin, room, breakfast and entertainment) are exceptional, and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The breakfast setting is embracing and the food of great quality. The rooms although slightly dated, are comfortable, and the most important point - the air conditioning works brilliantly. The hotel itself is set back from the busy Jalan Kartika road, as such the noise and hustle/bustle of Bali street life is quickly forgotten. As the hotel is set on the fringes of Kuta (in Tuban), the 'party' group noise is not overwhelming. A newly constructed (cheaper by price) sister hotel (Bintang Kuta) located at the eastern front border of the Ramada Bintang grounds allows its guests to use the Ramada Bintang facilities (-). Suggest that the Ramada Bintang Bali hotel is largely family orientated in its atmosphere, but would have liked to have seen more up to date and appealing children's play equipment in the grounds (only a small dated area is available near the pools). The pool itself is the gem of the hotel located near the western border, leading onto the beach. Give this hotel an overall high rating. Well done Ramada Bintang Bali.

Room Tip: The family rooms are on the ground floor (south wing). It allows for freedom to step out onto grass...

I used to stay here all the time, but I will not stay here again. The positives are the location, the gardens and the pool, but the negatives are breakfast it is a nightmare trying to find a seat and table is almost impossible, and dealing with other guests from a certain country who do not beleive in queuing is not the thing I want to deal with first thing in the morning. The rooms are very noisy with the same guests slamming doors and yelling and talking loudly at all hours is not relaxing at all and for the money there are plenty of more relaxing hotels without the hords of ignorant, rude guests.

Nice hotel and beautiful gardens. Also right on the beach so you can watch the amazing sunset. No mosquitoes either! We had adjoining rooms so our teenage children had their own space and bathroom, Which worked well for us. Overall great family hotel.

We stayed here in November 2014 for 9 nights Upon arrival at about 3.45pm we were told 2 of the 3 rooms we had booked were not cleaned so we were not off to a great start. This is a very large complex with over 400 rooms, they are not to bad for size but the bathroom needs a complete make over as it has a not so friendly bath/shower combination which is not very ideal for older people. Breakfast is just okay but nothing special. This complex has a large pool area with a kids pool included, which would be better if it was shaded. Overall, I would have to rate this complex average - it should be and could be better but the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Dear Robert S,
Warmest greeting from Ramada Bintang Bali Resort,
Thanks for dropping your review about your staying in our resort.
You were right that on your period of stay we are with 402 rooms were in high capacity. So we had arranged all our guests rooms earlier based in the requirement. And the guests who stayed in the rooms were allocated previously asking for late check out due sickness problem. So we do sorry that you were late in checking in due you wanted to keep those rooms.
And for your review about our bathroom completely need to makeover will forward to our owning company directly. Anyway your reviews are very important for our improvements.
Thanks & Regards,
Meru Ardy
