“Memorable stay”

We stayed for 3 nights for our honeymoon, and having heard such glaring review and this resort being stated as a 5 star accommodation by our travel agent, we were excited to stay here. After a poor start (room wasn't ready on time and not decorated with honeymoon decorations as prior request), everything else was fine. The rooms were sufficiently clean and pleasant, and service was fast and courteous. Breakfast was tasty, albeit having experience problems with the flies (we're told it's because of fruit season), but still it didn't give a good impression of a 5-star resort.

The amenities was good, and the view from the pool and private beach was something to behold. The combination of the green garden, blue pool and white sandy beach was breathtaking. Although we did not have much time to fully explore and experience the resort and its activities, it was still a memorable stay.

We stayed at Ramada Bintang for a week with 2 teenage boys early December after we were recommended by a friend, originally we were about to book in 2 bedroom villa in Seminyak. What a great choice, couldn't have had a better holidays. We are so happy with the hotel, the location, rooms and services are the best, the staff from all departments are always willing to help make our stay enjoyable. Couldn't find fault at all. The breakfast selection is abundant, we always made an effort to come in early as not to miss the little Indonesian sweets ( they were gone quickly, they are so yummy I wish you could bring out more). The pool is so big and refreshing, the towel service is a bonus. I can write on and on about this hotel, and can't wait to come back soon. Highly recommended to all. Say hello to Ibu Oka who always welcomed us with her smile every morning for breakfast.

I stayed at the Ramada Bintang In November and July this year. I cant express enough what a fantastic hotel this is to stay at. The staff are so friendly especially Sumi (guest relations) who went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect. I have been to Bali 18 times and stayed at various hotels from Nusa Dua to Kuta. After this being my 4th visit to the Ramada in less than 18 months there is no other place I would stay. Cant wait till june 2013 to go back their with my family. To the staff at the Ramada I cant thank you enough for the wonderful time my family and i had. Yvonne Becu Perth WA

On our last port of all on our week trip to Bali we stayed at this hotel.
We had booked into another hotel that we were very disapointed with but lucky for us changed to this hotel.
It is a bit more expansive than hotels on the other side of the island however was not over priced.
you have all the benefits of being close to markets and department stores however you have the choice of either the hussell of the street or the peace of the pathway that winds along the beach in front of the resort all the way to Kuta.
The rooms are a good size clean and comfy and as in all Bali hotels the staff are great
I love the grass area near the pool so very relaxing . The resturant out front is lots of fun good entertainment and prices. Breakfast is also very good.They have a swim up bar and happy hour however what I liked about this it does not dominate the pool as it is so large,so if you are like and its not your thing you can enjoy without having to be part of if
We are hoping to return next year with out grown up family

My husband stayed at this hotel in Sept 2011. He enjoyed his stay so booked a night for us this year. What a disappointment. We arrived at 6pm. Even though check in was at 2pm our room was still not ready. After waiting for 20 mins we decided to go for a walk & come back. So another 20 mins later our room is ready. Our luggage had just been left on the floor of the lobby. We took our luggage to our room ourselves it was not taken for us. Our room was horrible. It was a smoking room & we do not smoke. It smelt horrendous. The room was not clean. I rang reception & was told i had not specified a non smoking room & that we had actually been upgraded to a romantic room. I actually had to laugh at that as there was nothing romantic about it. We were told nothing could be done as they were fully booked. We went down to reception to try to see what could be done but still nothing. Lucky for us it was only one evening. The room was so disgusting, do yourselves a favour & stay elsewhere. The service was not what you would expect from a major hotel such as this.

Thanks you for your feed back about your feeling during your stay with Ramada Bintang Bali Resort. It is correct, fully booked is not the reason not to give acceptable service to the guest like you. We do apologize for less attentions on that actual high guests turn over and fully booked situation.
We seriously give attentions to your feed back about our services and property.
We found three things from your feedback that we have to improve
First, regarding with our property. The follow through,some certain projects are still going on in order to upgrade our property and hopefully very soon, we can present more comfortable rooms to all our guests. Second how to meet your privilege requests from your booking or based on your first visit experience. Our hotel system completed with ability to record guests needs. So we are able to keep all our guests profile. All our guests profile are very important for us in order to fulfill the specific requirements, that's why the specific requirements directly request by guests or through agents will help us to allocate in which rooms the guests will be signed. And same profile upon reservation booking will be very helpful to avoid complaint like yours. And third, about our bellboy services. We have procedure and policy clearly how we have to ready to help all our guests to bring the luggage to their room. For that cases, certain reminder will be given by Front Office Manager to our bellboy ensuring that will not happen anymore.
We understand the Ramada Bintang is not for everyone, however you can see from many positive comments on this media and number of guests we get, it certainly enjoy by many.
Anyway, Dear Kazzastevo, We are sorry for your unsatisfied feeling.

Enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Bintang. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. They knew us by name and loved our young girls. The girls loved going to breakfast each morning just to hang around with the staff.
We stayed 14 nights here and had a great time. The rooms were large and comfortable with a nice outdoor grassed area where the chilldren played.
The bathrooms are tired and do need a makeover as well as the toilet and the flush system thats a button on the side was fustrating. The shower had good pressure. The other complaint is that there is hardly no storage in the room. We didnt want to live out of suitcases so we addressed this with management and they did bring a large table that had drawers and for somewhere to put our bags on.
The grounds are beautifully kept on this huge property.The pool area was lovely and the pool was refreshing and clean. They offer activities during the day like Aqua aerobics, bingo and learning to dive. You can also use their pushbikes to explore along the beach path.
Our girls went to kids club almost everyday for a couple of hours they enjoyed going and meeting new kids. The ladies Wulang and ressati (?spelling) were fantastic with the kids and the girls loved them.
The beach walk out the front was nice to do, but got put off with the continue hassling of the beach ladies they are very persisent and abit of a turn off. So much so that I prefered to go out the front entrance of hotel. Great massage place called la Risso across the road form hotel. Had some good massages there by Ria she was good.
The bell boys out front were nice and would call for a bluebird taxi when requested and didnt have to pay extra for this service which was good. The hotel also should look at offering free wifi to its guests.
Overall good hotel with good facilities would stay here again.

I find this hotel to be in such a great location,right on the beach and within easy walking distance to all facilities.Recent renovations have much improved the hotel rooms,such as flat screen T.V.s, some new room furnishings and freshly painted.New beach lounges around the swimming pool,but new beach towels are needed. They are ongoing renovations throughout the resort which is great to see.Staff as always I cannot fault, as they are very friendly and are happy to help in any way possible.Restaurants at the Ramada offer a great selection of western and indo foods with the theme nights being popular.Prices are very reasonable.Cannot wait to return to this hotel next year.
