“Pay respect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

This is a haunting reminder of how quickly life can be taken away. I was very annoyed to see people standing in front of the monument for photos doing stupid hand signs and poses. I feel some respect no matter what country you are from.

“Ground Zero”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2014

This was a very difficult place to visit. But could not leave without paying my respects to all the beautiful people who lost there lives, and of course all the families that have been affected. I can't say too much but it is a beautiful memorial.

“Remembering 2002 bombing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

It is the site of the 2002 Bali bombings. Now it is called Ground Zero.

Ground Zero monument was built to commemorate the first Bali Bombing tragedy and honor the victims. 1 Bali bombings occurred in 2002, exactly on October 12. These events led to loss of life is very much that 202 people died mostly foreign tourists from Australia. This incident occurred in the area Jl.Legian Kuta, Bali, exactly in the Sari Club and Paddy's Cafe.

Actually, the original name of this monument is the "Monument of Five Continents" it is a tourist attraction now where people just come to take pic of the site.

I beleive the site should be converted into a well-kept memorial site or park honoring the lives of those who died.

More should be done for the remembrance of those who died.

I have visited this site a couple of times now and it is hauntingly touching. It is great to see that this area is kept as nice as it is.
