“BALI MUST DO.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

We have been here alot over the last 2 years and its worth a look each time. Everybody that goes to bali needs to stop here and just have a quiet look and take a few photo's. Its easy to find near the surf shops on Legian street. Over the road to the west is a carpark behind a green fence and i have been told this is the other site and that the Australian goverment wants to do another monument here. I hope if they do its just as nice.

“Great Monument”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

The monument is in the middle of very busy area of Jalan Legian, but is always kept in excellent condition. We have visited Bali many times since 1st bombing and always come past this area for a look.

“Been by here many times!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

As a frequent traveler to Bali, I have been here many times, I left to go home 3 days before the bombing. The Saturday night before the bombing I was sitting on the bleachers in the sari club. I was at the bagus club just prior and saw many footie players with their families partying and just enjoying life. I often wondered which ones of them were killed. Many of my friends have friends and family who were there and the stories are chilling. Like the surfboard maker who wife was pg and went home instead of hanging out with him....he was sitting in front of the big glass windows just down from sari. And my friend mark who had eaten a bad chicken dish and went home from sari just before the bomb went off. This memorial is very bitter sweet. I hate the fact this had to happen to such nice people in a beautiful place.

“Very moving”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

We went to the memorial and saw the place where the bomb went off and it was very moving and sad to think of all those people who died there and also those that survived. Worth going to visit and see the horrible numbers killed. Very moving.

“A must see”

Every traveller to Bali must go and see Ground Zero at least once! It has been tastefully manicured with nice paving and tasteful tropical greenery!
