“Must see.. and pay tribute.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

The Ground Zero monument is located right at the heart of the Legion Street and is impossible to miss. The big marbled structure has been engraved with the names of all the people who lost their lives in the tragedy.

The vicinity of the monument filled with shops, bars and discos. The traffic at the place especially during the evenings is quite heavy.

Must see if you ask me!

If you never been in Bali before, you should visit the monument. Once, at least..
better by walk than by car or motorcycle.. very crowded at the afternoon & night..

“Breathtaking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

I wanted to pay my respects but worried it would be "tacky". We searched for it and suddenly there in the middle of a busy intersection there it was. We had visited at night when locked up and lit up. Lots of people taking photos, I felt I wasn't being respectful being a spectator. Went back next day during daylight its open and you can get really close, reading all those names I felt I was truly paying my respects,I overheard a father explaining to several young children what had happened and they all listened so carefully that I could not help but cry. What a beautiful memorial to such a tragedy
