“Will definately stay there again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

We stayed here for a week and will go back. I found it good value for money. The bedding was changed on a daily basis and the room was cleaned daily also. I have stayed at more expensive hotels in Kuta where this doesn't happen. The staff were not only very friendly but could not do enough to help with any request. The breakfast had a good variety of different things to try along with the regular stuff. The two nights we ate in the restaurant the food and service was very good. The pool is very large and clean. The ten pin bowling and pool/snooker area is kept clean and tidy. The gym is adequate for being on holiday. Although there is an onsite night club it didn't affect our sleep or stay.

we recently spent 2 nights at kuta station. Good location - shops, markets, dining and beach all very close by. Not a fancy hotel but for the price its good value. Rooms are basic and comfortable. Free wifi is good. Huge pool. Clean and tidy rooms. Only bad thing was the walls are very thin.- Our neighbour snored very loudly allll night resulting in very little sleep for us!

We stayed here for 15 days, the room was neat and had all the mod cons that we required.
This hotel is the sister hotel of the Kuta Paradiso and has a clean and modern Spa, a well equipped Gym, a huge ten pin bowling and pool & Billiard center with its own night club that open at 2 am and closes at 9 am and no need to worry about the noice because you can.t here any. The lap pool is fantastic and we did four laps every day just for fun. It has its own restraunt and bar, were we had breakfast and dinner on most nights, the duck is fantastic.
However the best quality of this hotel is the staff, from the manager Mr Nyoman Suparta, to the duty manager Mr Suta Ardana, restraurant staff Agung, Yogi and Dewi and all the reception staff and cleaners nothing was to much trouble and always with a smile on there face.

Room Tip: The ground floor room suited us just fine...

After visiting Ubud and Lovina we travelled to Kuta for the final stage of our holiday in Bali.

We decided to stay in the Kuta Station hotel after being attracted by the nice photos on their website, their cheap rooms and the good location.

On arrival the staff at reception were very pleasant and told us we had a pool view room. I was ok with this although to be honest I am more of a snooker fan. Seriously though, this is what we requested so we were pleased that they accommodated our request.

The receptionist told us that the hotel was 3 years old so we expected a nice room with modern furniture. We were sadly mistaken. The room looked about 20 years old and the furniture was falling to pieces. The walls were stained and in very poor condition. Some of the floor tiles were cracked and it quickly became clear that this hotel was built on the cheap to attract guests with a low rack rate. However in only 3 years the place is already a dump and is in dire need of renovation.

The bed was ok, but not very firm. If by now you are thinking "I bet the bed linen was stained" you would be spot on. It either needs replaced or they need to invest in some decent washing machines, but it is just not pleasant at all. Even the chair in the room was stained.

There were some positives. As mentioned already the location is great, close to some ace restaurants like Ryoshi and Gabah and about a one minute stroll from Waterbom Park. The breakfast was pretty impressive, particularly the Chicken Porridge which is absolutely fantastic. In the evenings there is a live band in the restaurant, who were pretty good. Lots of great tunes, such as covers of Led Zeppelin, REM etc.

One final negative point. After we checked out and the Bell Boy helped us check the weight of our luggage he asked if we needed a taxi to the airport. We asked him how much and he said 100,000 Rp. This is cheap where we come from, but a total rip off in Kuta as the airport is only 5 minutes from the hotel. We therefore suggested a blue taxi as these are metered and the Bell Boy flagged one down while we were organising our luggage. It was only as we were half way to the airport that we noticed that the meter was not running. When we asked the taxi driver he said that they had agreed a price with the Bell Boy of 70,000 Rp without telling us. This is still a rip off so please be aware of these dirty tactics that the locals use to fleece tourists. Make sure that you tell the taxi driver to start the meter as it is likely that the real cost from the hotel to the airport is somewhere between 20,000 to 30,000 Rp.

To sum up, in my opinion, is a hotel which is ideal for stag parties where a bunch of lads can crash in a centrally located hotel for a dirt cheap price. If you are going to Kuta for a romantic weekend do not go to this hotel.

Sorry i am late on this review as Trip Advisor would not let me do another one because it was less than 3 months since our last visit to KUTA STATION...(go figure that one).Any way, we came back to kuta station for Christmas 2013/New Year 2014.We were previously there in October 2013.Nothing had changed except for Alit leaving. The NEW YEARS party was a screem. You must go there.Once again the staff were great and had a ball with our kids. They have the best peanut sauce and you should try it on your omolette.I have already wrote a review on the rooms before and nothing has changed.I have stayed at 15 Hotels in 29 trips to BALI staying at 5 star hotels in NUSA DUA to the BOUNTY in KUTA..So to all the people that complain about smelly rooms and moved hotels,i bet that hotels rooms were no different. It is Bali. As long as the Airconditioning is cold and the shower is hot, thats all we care about. And we will be going back to Kuta Station this October.See Ya.

Room Tip: Family Room for those with kids.

we checked in from 4th to 6th June 2014, great location, surrounding with restaurant, spa, shopping mall, near to kuta beach, matahari mall and discovery mall, nearby St.Francis Xavier Catholic Church too, excellent Spa service, good Balinese massage, special discount for hotel guests, live band music at night, but poor Wi-Fi service, Wi-Fi only available at lobby and open area.
