“Good Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Location is good as it's within walking distance to nearby shopping mall, beach, mini markets and sounvenir shops. We had 2 rooms next to the swimming pool on the ground floor. Rooms were comfortable, and air cons were turned on at the end of the day for our comfort before we returned to the hotel (it was good service but I thought unnecessary). One downside about the hotel was that our bathrooms had problem with drainage, as the floors got flooded after a shower and water flowed in the opposite direction from the drainage hole. I guessed the floor was not properly designed to drain the water. The bathrooms were big but I thought it would have been better to give the space to the room instead of having such big shower and bathroom. Overall, we were happy with the facilities available in the hotel and location central with lots of food outlets along the street if not dining in the hotel...

Room Tip: Our rooms on the ground floor tend to be noisier, especially it was next to the swimming pool and th...

I had wandered past the Station on my previous stay in Bali, when I stayed across the road at the Bali Gardens. I won't be wandering past again... I'll be going straight in. I love the location. The size of the rooms are more than adequate. The room is clean and tidy. It was appointed with a comfortable large bed, a fridge, cool a/c and a toilet and shower. I've stayed at places where the rooms are "prettier", but at the end of the day, if all those are ticked I'm happy. The only complaint I might have would be the hot water for the shower wasn't very hot. The grounds again, were not as fanciful as other places. But there was a pool with a bar literally right at my door. The service at both the desk and by those servicing the rooms was typical wonderful Bali. And all this for approx $60 a night. I've already recommended it to others that have stayed, and they were more than happy too. If you want to have more money to spend on food, alcohol, personal pampering, and shopping, and still have a great location, do yourself a favour and stay at the Station. Giddyup.

Kuta Station hotel is in an excellent location, near to shopping, waterborn, beach and entertainment. The best recommendation for this hotel is the staff. They are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room is large and well appointed. The main pool is large and kept very clean. There is a small pool for children and a play area. The Station restaurant sells very reasonably priced meals but of a very high standard and choice. Security at the front of the hotel makes this hotel a very safe environment for families. The guests are very multicultural and it is interesting to speak to other nationalities. Would highly recommend The Kuta Station hotel and we will be returning on our next trip to Bali.

Room Tip: We always choose a pool side room so we can step outside our door and into the pool.

The staff was amazingly friendly and often gave us advice on trips, etc.
Although the hotel was in the hectic part of the city, the inside was very safe and quiet. Located just across the street from kuta beach.
Breakfast was fulfilling and excellent! (PS: try chicken sausage, yaaamm)

Room Tip: The back of the hotel building is maybe a good choice. They have a live band playing every evening a...

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Kuta Station with our parents as well as our 2 young children. Found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and clean. Facilities were accommodating for all ages as we had our older parents who found entertainment in the bowling alley as well as the pool side relaxing bar and restaurant. The kids enjoyed a fun playground with a kids pool and climbing area. The bar & restaurant had entertainment, bands and all the staff were very friendly. There is a bowliong alley and pool tables facility which the kids had a ball and we had fun chasing them down the alleys haha. Will definately stay there again and refer friends and family. Thank you Alit and all your staff for making our stay enjoyable, hopefully will see you again soon xx Tracy

We had an extremely late flight arrival so chose this place as it was close to the airport. We had 2 nights here which was enough for us. Kuta / tuban is very busy and somewhere we choose not to spend a lot of time when we visit Bali.
Kuta station hotel is a larger hotel with rooms built either side of a long swimming pool. It can be a bit noisy as many guests seem to ignore pool opening times and others like to sit outside their rooms talking. Apart from this the paradiso bowling centre has rather loud music which continues throughout the night. Rooms are a good size, but not well finished in some places. The shower is huge and there is plenty of hot water. Our room 3101 had 2 singles and a double making it ideal for families. It was ground floor and faced the kids pool and was close to the playground. This hotel has a small charge for a child compared to other hotels. Breakfast was disappointing. Although it was a buffet choice was limited, not very hot and have had a lot better at other hotels. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The gardens and pool are well maintained. The Kuta art market is just across the street and it is a short walk to the beach, discovery mall shopping centre, matahari shopping centre and waterbom park. Overall a good location IF you like being in this area. Reasonably priced for a hotel of this rating.
