Before coming I did some research on the accomodation in the area and Suka Beach Inn seemed one of the best options price/quality wise (also judging by what some friends who stayed in Kuta a few times said)... So, the place looks really good especially from outside (the garden is nice and swimming pool makes a difference) but that's basically it.
There is a choice of 4 options for rooms, the cheapest is 154 000 Indonesian Rupees (around 12 Euros), no hot water no a/c. The most expensive is 360 000 (around 32 Euros) - with hot showen and aircon and they have a fridge inside (that's what we were told), more spacious but similar furniture (very basic). They don't have towels so you better bring one with you, or buy there.
We stayed only one night as we preferred to look for a more expensive but a nicer place.
I don't advise this one for couples, maybe for friends traveling together or singles (young people) who look for something cheap in a lively area - that will be it. It's 3 minutes walk from Skygarden and is just 100 m away from Poppies lane 2 which is very lively (i'd say too lively for couples).
The breakfast is simple, they have wi-fi but the connection is bad, well as everywhere there, I guess...
