“Comfortable & clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

I stayed for 3 days in this hotel with a friend. First impressions on arrival, hotel is small, cramped parking, indoor lobby with modern minimalist furniture that memorable. There is no elevator, access to the upper floors using the stairs. I got a room upstairs with a twin bed, a room overlooking the pool, the room was spacious enough for the two of us, the furniture with a simple impression, available water kettle and coffee / tea.
The room & bathroom were clean, it's just not available toiletries (only liquid soap). Available power jack on each side of the bed and table tv, good internet connection, a screen for the internet is also available for guests in the lobby. Very strategic location close to the beach, the mall, and the entrance to the hotel many souvenir sellers , you just need to bid if you want to buy one. Overall a pretty good hotel for the location and the price offered.

Two of us stayed at this hotel for four days. We requested for a twin bed pool view room on the 2nd floor and the staff were very attentive to that. We checked in late but check in was very brisk and we were showed to our room within ten minutes. The staff were very thoughtful to have left the air conditioner running for us so we checked in to a cool room. Rooms are huge and for the cheap price that we paid we were able to put up with the minor drawbacks. The bathroom had a certain smell to it eventhough it was clean. It wasnt a very pleasant smell. And the air conditioner wasn't cooling enough and water kept dripping from it throughout our stay. We complained abt the air conditioner and the staff took action but still no difference. Pool is good. Very clean. Location of the hotel is great. It's right on poppies 2. A 5 min walk to beachwalk mall and a 5 minute walk to kuta beach. A ten minute walk to hard rock hotel/cafe. And street shopping along poppies 2 just as u step out of the hotel. However, the shops along this street closes at around 9pm. And if you are planning to return to the hotel after 9, the road leading up to the hotel will be deserted and dark.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We wanted to go for dinner in jimbaran and to a bar in seminyak but we weren't sure if they would be open as there were some prayers going on and most shops were closed. But the staff made a few calls and assured us that they were open and arranged a taxi for us at a very reasonable rate.

It is a very good hotel for the price that we paid and I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Bali.

Here now, part of a 28 day stay, sampling some of the local hotel/ resorts. Booked thru booking.com @ approx $50 per night. Although budget, rooms and hotel modern and clean best of all is the location, 50 meters to boardwalk shopping mall, 5 min walk to beach, restaurants and bars. Rooms basic, clean fresh and modern. We were given a room overlooking the pool area. Very happy, staff great, would definitely stay here again, mainly due to the location.

Room Tip: Pool view room

Spent 5 nights there as a family of two parents and three children. Staff were friendly and helpful and were great with the kids, one staff member even lent us his moped to take the youngest for a ride to make sure she wasn't scared before we hired some! We were given rooms next to each other with balconies over looking the pool. Rooms were clean and spacious enough to have 3 kids in one room. Didn't have the mould smell a lot of the budget hotels do either. Will definitely take the kids back there again. Drivers were excellent with reasonable prices too! The hotel and staff made it an excellent holiday for both us and the kids.

Just stayed for the weekend (2 nights), was all good. Check-in check-out was smooth, all staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was fine, only had it on one of the mornings, slept in for the other. Have read about discounted rooms in deep dark corners and I'd booked a great price through Agoda, however upon arrival was offered a prime room directly overlooking the pool.
Location is great, walk out front turn left and its a minute to the beach, turn right and your on Jalan Legian (main road/night spots) in a minute. Also a new mall has opened about 30 metres from the hotel entrance.
Poppies II is a great spot, although its close to all the action its a quiet little corner and nice to sit around the pool relaxing. Although it may have been quieter than usual as they were doing roadworks and Poppies II was closed to through traffic most of the time i was there.

This hotel is in a perfect location only a short walk from the beach and central strip with many clubs and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were large enough, however the bathrooms tended to smell slightly at certain times of the day which is weird. Also the towels had dirty patches on them, which made us question the hotels cleaning equipment. I would reccomend this hotel for great staff and location.

We only paid £22 a night for this hotel via agoda so can't complain. Amazing deal for the budget traveller. Nice infinity pool that we had to ourselves most days. The loungers by the pool were extremely good quality and comfy. You have to pay for these on kuta beach. They also have large bean bag beds. All the rooms over look the pool and have balconies. The food was nice although you can get cheaper if you go onto the street instead of pool service. Our room wasnt the nicest we have stayed in but had a flat screen tv with plenty of multi lingual channels. Service was great and staff friendly. We would stay here again.
