We went there following a few friends reccomendations, fresh food, yummy and not expensive at all for the quality served.
the view is an add on to this nice restaurant. It worth the climbing. We started with 2 antipasto della casa to share between the 4 of us. Generous serving for 134 thousand rupiahs, all seafood presented in different recipes, the clams were tasty and fresh, a bit spicy though and the squid stuffed with peas was tasty and tender.
For main I had Gnocchi di zucca alla boscaiola, a nice combination of pumpkin kind of dumplings
in mushrooms, olives, bacon and cream sauce, very hard to find this class of cuisine in Bali, a plus.
My girlfriend ordered tagliolini lobster, again a hit! The sauce was tasty and the lobster very fresh, the pasta had the lobster taste till the last bite, a must try.
My friends shared a salmon alla pepe nero, nothing was left in the plate so I guess they enjoy it.
The service was quite attentive and the Italian chef came for a short chat which makes always the difference in a good Italian venue. He reccomended us his Tiramisu as the best in Bali, he was no kidding! We ordered 2 to share and regretted shortly after they was finished, should have get four. Creamy, flavorsome, well balanced with home made savoiardi, again a great piece of Italian traditions.
We will go back whenever we will be at Jimbaran area craving for good Italian food.
The restaurant was quite packed on friday night and we had a table by chance so I think is better to book at least in weekends.
