“Professionally Managed Bali Zoo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

We drove our rented car to this Zoo,near the Sukawati area, when we looked at the price ticket we're a bit surprised $ 24 for adults. But thankfully there's a domestic visitor fee about $ 9.We paid the sum and went in ,immediately stunned by how clean and pleasant this Zoo was.Reminds me on the Singapore Zoo.There's a cafe overlooking the Lion's den, with glasses , so u can experince the Lions about 1 metres from your seat.A feeding session for the Lions also available. We saw the Balinese rare Jalak bird here. Then we went to the aviary, experience standing very near to some huge Bat and Hornbills. We can feed the elephant and the spotted deers also for the sum of $ 2.5 to 5.There's also an elephant ride , with additional fee.Nice experience, animals well kept and fed.Keep up the good work , preserving the animals, Bali Zoo

“Fun experience for the family with unique experiences”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Where else can you go to feed lions and tigers by hand. A well developed park that has a good range of animals and a few attractions. Could probably be done in half a day if you are not doing the Elephant walk or tree top adventures. Had some great animal experiences with a Binturong, Lion Cub, exotic birds, baby crocodile, Iguana and a baby Gibbon. The meals are reasonably priced in the elephant restaurant and are of good quality. Just remember to ask for some sambal if you you want a kick in your Green Curry.

“great place for young and old”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

We went here on last day and loved it.
older kids went on treewalk, my 3yr old and I went on elephant ride.
buffet lunch was good.
take a wod of cash as lots of feeding elephants tigers etc for $5aus, plus kids will keep wanting to go on treewalk and flying fox.
Zoo grounds very tidy and amazing, animals look in beautiful condition.
We went for half a day, but wish we spent the whole day!
