3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

I stayed in this hotel in March 2013 while on a business visit. Honestly, booked this room based on various reviews on tripadvisor. So, I was kind of aware what I was getting into. Check-In was ok; the staff insisted a printout when I showed him the email on my iPad and looked puzzled and insisted that I need to produce a print. Process. Duh.
Room was well laid out, good spacing to walk around. The wardrobes smelt of poor quality wood that has been used, understandably. View from the hotel up above the mountains is that of Mussorie town but wasn't anything great from my room though. Mattress & Linen were clean and neat. Bathroom wasn't too spacious, although functional to what it should be. The handshower in the WC is placed on the left side which is very inconvenient. Hot water flowed in the shower, so that was a good one. Room service is quick and efficient, food is awesome.
There was no buffet owing to low occupancy as is the case in such small hotels. Instead, they offerred me to choose from the a-la-carte menu. Somehow, I didn't feel the value for what I paid for the room.
The hotel is about 10km away on the Dehradun-Mussorie highway. There is no public transport around, so you may have to depend on the hotel transportation if you intend to come to the city for a stroll or shopping. There is a Cafe Coffee Day within the Max Super Speciality hospital nearyby, which is at a walkable distance. Overall was an average experience.

Room Tip: Ask and you may be obliged. Don't expect much.

We stayed here for two nights on a work trip to Dehradun. The hotel is far away from the centre of town, which is fine because it puts some distance between you and the grime of a newly booming city business centre. But the service is definitely below the standard expected of a hotel that charges a hefty tariff... We were disappointed with the check-in desk and their complete inefficiency in helping us get to our room (we arrived late at night, there was nobody at the desk and when we rang the bell, a grumpy man came slumbering around and demanded a slew of identity cards. It was only 30 minutes later that he deigned to give us our key). Breakfast is a sad affair with measly portions and strangely fluorescent fluid in tiny glasses instead of juice. I would not stay here again if I had a choice.

Little away from the city, it is a small hotel with few rooms and limited menu dining facilities. Staff is courteous and eager to make guests comfortable. However, it feels cramped in lobby and so called restaurant which is actually extension of the small lobby itself. Food is tasty but menu is very limited.

Room Tip: Check the room before accepting as the room above the reception is very cramped. Also check whether...

The food is very good as well only drawback is that they serve only mughlar cuisine yet the food is very tasty. the hotel has a nice view of the hills and you can view mussorrie from your rooms.
