“peaceful bubble”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

Had dinner here both nights we were in Varanasi as it is convenient from the Kedareswar B&B where we were staying AND the food is plain and simple - and you can even dare a green salad as they wash it with mineral water (I am here to testify the safety of the salad!)

“Delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013 via mobile

Our favourites were rajma marsala (red kidney beans capsicum tomato) 190Rp and red coconut Thai curry 170Rp - both with rice included. Add tea and a coke for total meal of about 500rp.
Breakfast omelette, toast and tea were lovely. Bread is excellent heavy brown but staff need encouragement to do more than warm it. Unfortunately, during the frequent Varanasi power outages they have not discovered the simple technique of toasting with gas.
The restaurant is all open air but we had no problem with mozzies or flies. Monkey were more of a worry wandering through restaurant, but shooed off by staff as quick as possible.

“Nice surprise ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

We were actually tired of Indian food after several weeks of traveling in India, but never could find any alternative, except for Chinese and Korean with very limited choice. This place was a blessing!!!! Very nice food, big portions, clear menu. Although one of the stuff guys was severely high (the smoking drugs is legalized in Varanasi, so don't buy in streets), we were quickly served in a very western way. So thank you so much!!! Today is going to dine here)))

“Best Non-Indian-Food you can find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

After three months in India I really started to crave for some Western food and this was the only place that was able to serve some decent Western food at an affordable rate. The pumkin ravioli in sage butter were absolutely delicious!!

The restaurant is run by a German women and she is trying her best to make the Indian staff live up to Western service standard :)

“Very limited menu”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

Although the location is nice as is the relaxed atmosphere with cushions on the floor, the menu here was very average with an assorted mix of various cuisines - but no indian. We stayed for a drink but ended up eating elsewhere.
