“Lovely food, friendly staff, great wifi, nice atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

This was such a pleasent find in Varanasi, It was right around the corner from our hotel in Shivala Ghat. The food is so good, nothing we tasted in the many times we ate here was less than tasty!!! especially nice was the french onion soup, the canelloni and the apple pie!!! They have a good variety of food on the menu both veg and non veg and then they have their bakery counter also with lovely chocolate bread, cinnomon rolls, cheese cake, cookies etc. The staff here are so friendly and the wifi connection is excellent. It is a relaxed environment in which you can order a big meal or even just a simple cup of tea and sit for hours on your laptop and noone makes you feel you need to leave or order more!!!! if we ever return to varanasi we will surely be back in this cafe!!!!!! Highly recommend!!!

“Empty of customers and breads”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

We went to this place on the advice of Lonely Planet . As we couldn't find it we asked a local who took us there but said it had been run down of late. He wasn't wrong. On entering it was empty and we could just see a few ordinary looking bread rolls behind a glass counter. There were a number of overly eager staff trying to get us to sit down but our general rule in. Asia is to go with your gut feeling and also not eat at a place which does not appear busy. We found a cafe run by a Japanese family around the corner which was quite good.

“Cinnamon roll dreams”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This places rocks! Fantastic and safe food - Good variety, amazing finger chips, amazing pastries - you will meet other travellers there - (always a good sign) - The waiters vary though - one guy in particular comes across as a bit aloof, but you just need to get him to crack a smile and then he is fine. Seriously good food!!

“Arrogant dishonest waiter, expensive food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

When one male local waiter serve my dishes, he just put his nostrils toward me, without a single word even I said thank u with smile. After that, when I asked another waiter for address of an art shop, he said it's closed due to family disharmony issue 2 months ago. But finally I found that shop, it did open!
Food is expensive and nothing special, the waiters there are either arrogant or dishonest, avoiding to step in this restaurant!
