“Clean retreat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Pleasantly surprised at this neat and clean hotel. We stayed as a group and everyone was very happy. Restaurant reasonably priced with good food. Staff eager to please and always helpful. Location a little out of main action. Recommended

FIRSTLY on booking we were told that in the two exec deluxe rooms we paid for, we only booked one person in per room,We produced our invoice showing double king size bed for two rooms in the exec suites, and that we we hardly book in as a single occupancy.....to no avail as it was a late arrival ,,,we couldnt argue...the evening meal was to be fair good ..as for the shower the hot water in this hotel is NON EXISTANT.... verified by every guest we met during our 2 night stay.Breakfast again good...but supervised a by a vastly overattendant supervisor who resembled a praying mantis. The rooms are spacious and fair value....On to opening the room door prior to checkout.. we were assended upon by a waiting trio of hotel staff.who raced into our room to check the fridge bar...thy must have been in the corridor for about 1hour..On checkout we were charged approx extra £16 ,,,which was blamed to the agency AGONDA who we booked with..... better value to book elsewhere

On the plus side, this hotel has a lot of the basics that travelers from the West would want, such as Wifi, AC, hot water, etc. However, there are many reasons to stay away. Our room was quite dingy; the comforter looked like it hadn't ever been washed as it was quite yellowed. The sheets, curtains, rugs all needed to be cleaned better. We saw several small crawling insects, including roach nymphs, especially in the bathroom area. Dogs fighting outside created quite a racket during the night. Dinner was fine. Breakfast was included and was decent but not great. The "milk" they provided for cereal and coffee was obviously watered down, which I thought was a particularly classless touch.

The rooms are spacious...not spanking clean but comfortable however the reason I write this review is because....it seems the hotel constantly compromises on guest comfort at the cost of hosting Parties ints banquet hall...we stayed there only one night....had an early start the next day so needed the sleep. At 10:00pm excruciatingly loud music started playing...the entire room was reverbarting with sound. When we spoke to the reception, we were told it would shut at 10:45pm...the music carried on till 12 am!! On top of it the staff stopped picking up our phones..at 12:15 am we had to walk down two floor and complain again finally the music stopped close to 12:40am! If you are looking for peace and some shut eye..
.ditch it

Stayed here just for 1 night. Hotel is fairly basic. Room was ok & spacious. Small bathroom but clean. Showers weren't always hot sadly.
Don't expect anything fancy here but if you're just passing through to see the Taj Mahal then it's fine.
Food was good & tasty.
Nice roof terrace to have a drink. Staff were always to hand.

The hotel offers adequate rooms for a stop over and there is wifi, but this is only available in the Lobby area. If you are desperate there is a McDonalds just across the road! The restaurant offered a good range of food at breakfast and there is an extensive a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. The room was adequate for one night but the bathroom was not clean and needed to be upgraded. The staff were all very helpful and dealt with any questions promptly and efficiently.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back to avoid street noise

Great location, Great Service all round.i had "Superior Room".
Room size seemed quite big judging from the other pictures on here, no idea what you'd have to book to get a larger room. helpful staff , The breakfast house are excellent, and I was definitely surprised at the decor and amenities provided considering the price.Super nice for solo female travelers like myself. recommend it .

Room Tip: executive room
