We stayed here for one night only on a Kuoni tour of the Golden Triangle. Personally I dislike modern clinical hotels, however the rooms and public areas were clean and functional. We had the least personal service here, we were not informed that we had to book our "slot" for dinner and ended up eating at 9pm - too late as were were up the next morning at 5am to visit the Taj Mahal at daybreak. This was especially frustrating as we could see empty tables earlier in the evening. Some others in our party also had trouble with the "happy hour". They were told that as they were only staying for one night it was not included in the package. Whilst waiting for our dinner slot we sat in the bar - had to ask for more chairs and also our order was not fulfilled. There seemed to be a lack of staff and no-one in charge of this area.
I cannot say it was a bad hotel, but we should have been treated better, even though we were only staying there for one night.
Food choice and quality was excellent and service in the restaurant was superb, especially at lunchtime, which was quieter than the evening session.
