Read a good review on Tripadvisor and remembered the catchy name. While my driver and I were driving looking for lunch I spotted the name as I was looking out the window as we drove down a busy street. Parking is limited in front so he parked across the street as I went in. Definitely a more upscale place but for Westerners the prices are definitely reasonable. I had my driver eat with me. As I had lived in India before, we ordered a nice sample of things. We shared & all were excellent and extremely tasty, I'd forgotten how good Indian food is! Food was not spicy as I expected. I asked him why and he said most Indians aren't into real spicy food any more. I was there in the 60's.
The owner/mananger(s) were walking up and down the one (of two) aisles constantly and I was sitting in the corner but had a hard time getting the attention of our waiter or them. Have your camera ready as they have an impressively dressed doorman. We had our left overs bagged and I gave to a street person. My driver said most resturants will throw the leftovers and this way it doesn't go to waste. When I handed it to a street lady she looked a little disappointed. I mentnioned thisl to my driver and he said, as I suspected, she wanted money, but he said, "don't worry, she'll eat it".
