We stayed here, 2 adults and our children over Christmas. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. A nice touch is that the owner (and his wife, son) also join guests each night around the bonfire for drinks and chat. We had a camel trip and a boat trip, which we and our children enjoyed. Our guides were so enthusiastic about their subject- wildlife and this made their talks more enjoyable.
The food each evening was tasty, and so good that my husband had to keep going back for more!
I would have awarded top marks to this place, except for the fact that the cottages were extremely cold, and the heater supplied was inadequate- we left ours on all night and all day- and it was still warmer outside than in. Go to visit when it is warm- not in the winter.
We stayed as I said
