Gandhi museum is a key land mark in Madurai. Its located in the palace of Rani Mangammal, The palace was converted into a museum which tells us lot of stories about Indian independence. It’s worth visiting the place. Its having a collection of artifacts used by Gandhi during his life time and the key highlight is the shawl which he wore during his assassination. The blood strains are still visible and the replica of pistol used by Nathuram Vinayak Godse. The collection of old and rare photographs was amazing. The garden outside the museum is also a nice place for hang around. The famous Rajaji childrens park is just near the museum entrance.
