“Important temple to do rituals to elders who died.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Temple is good, but brahmin domination is more in and outside the temple, despite PERIYAR mission for a century.

“sculpture u name it and u can see it here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

It is amazing the NATARAJA SABHA, The sculptures are a feast to the eyes. The intricate chains interlinked on the ceiling made from one stone and the finger nails carved with nimble fingers are a sight to be seen and wondered.

“Dont miss it..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

I visited the temple early morning. What a place! I could the energy of a place built 2000 years ago. The main temple is beautiful. The preserved sculptures and magnificent murals and pillars were like a well laid out story book giving you a 'direct' insight into the lives of people thousands of years back. I lost track of time so could not visit the extended temples around the main temple. Have to leave something for next time :)
