Srinath ji's photo itself is mesmerizing. Its like "Ranchor" temple in Gujarat. It is said that during the regime of Aurangazeb fearing destruction of Hindu temples, idol of Srinath ji was brought from 'Govardhan", near Mathura. Even though the mewar kings were worshipping Shiv ji, they have installed the idol.Dont miss.

“get peace of mind & feeling of purity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

We traveled to Srinathji temple from Udaipur in the hired cabs from our hotel. This was my first visit. Though i had heard a lot about this temple from Gujrati tourists who stay in my hotel namely HOTEL SUNSHINE DELHI While traveling from GUJRAT to Manali/kashmir.
The temple premises is located in the centre of town after crossing through a very busy market.
There is a lot of rush in temple & to have a glimpse of God you have to make a lot of effort or else people will throw you on either side. It is almost a stampede like position.
The Temple place is not well managed. They can take some clues from the MATA VAISHNO DEVI SHRINE BOARD for management purpose. This way they can improve the temple as well as surroundings infrastucture.

“May God Bless us all !!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Very popular place not far away from Udaipur (approx 70kms, 1.5hrs) , must visit . Temple is very very crowded. There is a huge que always, separate for Men and Women. God's statue is awesome, worth a dekho and makes up for all the trouble taken, push-pull in the crowd.
Mobiles to be deposited at counter near the entrance.
Ladies will love to shop for knic-knacks on the way to temple.

“Chaotic..avoided a stampede...but worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

The best time to do darshan that's the "rajbhog" is unfortunately the most chaotic and maddening time. The rush is just too much..no space to stand..it is almost suffocating..managed somehow to do the darshan...must visit once though :))
