I stayed here for about 3weeks and it was a wonderful experience. With so many guesthouses in Udaipur catering towards tourist this is the most original i have found.
You will in a way be part of the family here. The rooms are nice and really cheap and the location is just in the heart of the old city with walking distance to most museums, temples and other sightseeing places.
The owner Vivek is also very friendly and can help you to find anything you are looking for. He drove me around on his bike a few times aswell when i needed to shop for some special things.
Only Vivek and his sister-inlaw(who BTW makes the best masalachai all over) speaks english but the rest of the family is pretty helpful anyway. And there is the cutest babycalf in the stable downstairs. The restaurant on the roof isnt quite ready yet but you can still hang out there and enjoy the view and sunset. All in all its very friendly and one of my more enjoyable stays in India.
