I have enjoyed more than 20 horse riding holidays in Europe, Africa and in the US. This is the first horse riding holiday I have not enjoyed. I rode with Princess Trails for one week in Feb 2012.
I booked the holiday with Equitours and was told that I would be accommodated in middle class hotel (when not camping). I have attached photos of the room I stayed in on the first night. The room was based at the owners farm and not at a hotel. The owner tried to insist I stay there a second night but I refused. It was filthy beyond description. The photos show that the ceiling was covered in mould (it also had holes in it) and the floor was filthy - I actually scraped a mark with the bottom of my shoe to show how dirty the floor was and to prove that the marks were 'dirt' and not age related.
The riding was not of a good standard either.
I could describe a lot more but I think the photos speak for themselves.
