“Wonderful Breakfast!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Great breakfast on a Saturday morning (actually, more like brunch). These folks are VERY concerned about pleasing the customer! It was after 11:00 a.m. but they were willing to let me order an omelet. When it came with the green chili smothering it (I had ordered green chili on the side) they were super-quick to offer to redo it and make it right! Prices are reasonable and portions large. All about customer service. Need more signage out front so non-locals will know they are there and open! Good menu, good food, and willing to please.

“Great place to eat, food was excellent.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

We visited the Elk Horn Cafe this evening. It has only been open for about a week but the chef has many years of experience. Food and service was some of the best we have had in the 4 weeks we have been in Angel Fire. My wife got the chicken fried steak and it was home made and you could cut it with your fork. CFS came with home made mashed potatoes, salad (great home made ranch dressing), corn (cooked with onion, green pepper) and Texas toast.
I ordered stuffed sopaipilla with beef. It was served with green or red chile, beans and rice. The meal was excellent. All the people who worked there went overboard in pleasing us. The cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Would recommend any one to eat here and plan to go back several more times before we go back home to Arlington.
