“All in all a Pleasant Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

all in all very pleasant area with a very good restaurant, an excellent service, as well as beautiful and commodious rooms. However with some of the smaller and larger flaws: in the neighborhood was during our stay built, which in the open air by the pool to considerable Impairments led. Please be at a rate of over 150 euros not: the use of sauna was extra charged with a ridiculously high and amount per person or per the Hallway. When we left the bell feast, that one of the two mini towels and accused us of the theft. We only escape tight the search of our luggage (leads to departure the service). In other words: when we arrived to check the completeness of the inventory and inventory at least once daily repeat.

Visited Jaisalmer 2 times with Family in March and October 2013 and both times stayed in Hotel Fort Rajwada.
Need I say more :)
I mean if you are going back to the same hotel again,it says it all.
Beautiful property.
Hospitality direct-from-the-heart.
Very courteous and humble staff, who makes you feel like a Maharaja, the way they treat you.
Excellent Food, tasty and reasonably priced (Adding some more Indian Variety and desserts in the buffet will help further).
Well laid spacious rooms which takes you to another era,the golden royale Era of princely Rajasthan.
Smiling, ever caring faces around you (I mean the staff) cheers you up.
Watching Sunset from the Sunset bar at the terrace was an experience I can never forget.
They deliver more than they promise.
IT CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS :)
Will keep going back again and again to Fort Rajwada every time I go to Jaisalmer.
Special mention for Mr.Shyam Singh in the Restaurant, people in the hotel industry can learn the BEST customer treatment from him.He is the star asset for the hotel.
Special thanks to Ms.Preeti for booking these 2 wonderful memorable trips for us and delivering beyond our expectations.

We did visit approx. 2 weeks ago this hotel during a visit to Jaisalmer.
Great place to be, clean, good staff, good food, pool clean, nice garden.
We did enjoy the stay in the hotel and can only recommend to go there.
Not to far from Jaisalmer Fort and other places for sightseeing.

We are a group of three couples with 4 kids travelling to Rajasthan on a 10 day holiday.

We came here from Jodhpur. After having stayed at Indana palace which was really awesome. We had heard good things about Fort Rajwada and were quite excited about our visit.

The welcome was warm but it was all downhill from there. Just after check in, we were informed that the breakfast would be charged for kids. Have never heard anything so absurd. For everything we were supposed to call up their sales office at Jaipur. After multiple calls they agreed not to charge for the kids.

There was no AC in the lobby. We were informed that AC was switched off to cut costs. The health faucets in the bathroom were broken.

After waiting for sometime, we were taken to our rooms. We had booked Super Deluxe and the rooms were really small. So we asked to see the Deluxe rooms. Both were exactly alike. When asked for the difference between the two rooms, they said that it was the upholstery used and the fruit basket kept in the Super Deluxe rooms!!!!!

They charge for almost everything. No free Wifi, Billiards room is charged 500/- an hour.

I would strongly recommend people to give this Hotel a skip. The management just doesn't understand the meaning of hospitality.

An hotel at nice place near the city. few more new hotels nearby. however, this is the oldest and well maintained. food is excellent. It has option of both the alacarte a well as buffet. The bar has great ambience. Also there is a rooftop bar for the sunset. We could not go to swimming pool side dinner at night as that was booked for some private party. Overall great.

We were travelling through Rajasthan and felt very well taken care of here.Stayed with my family for 4 days. Beautiful hotel. Built like a palace , Gave me a feeling of staying in a palace/fort. The staff if very friendly. Loved the Camels outside.Ever smiling and ready to offer local help. The pool was amazing and we experienced a beautiful sunrise from the terrace.Everything was exceptionally awesome, other than the food....they could definitely improve the food and make it more tastier :)

Our experience at Fort Rajwada was great. The reception and all other service was fantastic. Restaurant was excellent. We were travelling through Rajasthan and felt very well taken care of here. The lobby is spectacular and rooms were really nice. Any issues we had were taken care of professionally (I forgot the code i put into the safe and needed help in getting it open!) Dinner by the pool was well worth it. Could have easily stayed here a few more nights (were there for 2). Oh, and special mention to C.S. Rathore, the Hotel Manager who clearly loves his job and loves this property. He was endlessly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a great experience!
