“how to neglet what we have -come we will teach you”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

what a history and we damage it
old people living inside so part of it out of bounds
the ittar [perfume] bottle niches have been destroyed
the remaing pieces of glass studded on the walls could do with some cleaning
the walking terrace is definitely dangerous -the view fabulous
the curio shop on the top has nothing really from jaisalmer -some of them looked like made in china stuff
the entrance is dirty
could someone write down who was the owner and how is he connected to the abandoning of the 85 villages of the paliwals ?

“Wastage of time & money”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Not good behavior of the staff. Poorly maintained. Very small place. Only rooftop has fresh air. Nothing to see. Go & see other Havelies. Taken money for camera ticket, but not issued a ticket saying they are under print. Save money & time.

“not worth visiting”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

poor management and poorly maintained.Open time : 8:00 am to 7:00 pm as mentioned on sign board.I reached there at 9:00 in the morning but the caretaker told me that haveli is not ready yet and to come back after couple of hours as it will take time to manage it in this lazy weather - wow - if its cloudy then they are lazy . But after some forced persuasion he let me in.
Overall - not worth visiting. The same carvings and view of the fort can be experienced in patwon ki haveli as well.

“Bad behaviour”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

opening time 8am to 6pm, we went at 12.15pm, they did not allowed us to enter saying the person has gone for lunch will be back at 3pm, 3hrs for lunch, no backup, board says something. He unnecessary argues, understands nothing. Admin should check and take immediate action. We enjoyed from outside.

“A good haveli and even better shopping destination”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

A beautiful old building with intricate carvings, stunning sunrise view of the fort from the balcony and a spectacular dancing room. The man who takes care of the haveli personally offers a guided tour and explains the history and beauty of it with pride. The sunrise watch is highly recommended and so is the antique replicas shopping. Beautiful animal shaped lamps, opium pipes, carved boxes and aromatic oils are must buys. Well priced and properly packed, they make great gifts. Highly recommended
