Just as Doctor Bhang says, a lassi here will be 'your ticket to the moon'. The shop itself is not much to look at - a little hole in the wall place to the left of the main entrance to the fort with the sign "LASSI SHOP" (NOT the "Bhang Shop" around to the right which stole this business's name).
Doctor Bhang is a classic character, and meeting him and trying a fresh and delicious lassi here was a highlight of our trip to Jaisalmer. The cookies we bought were strong, and kept us going for the next few days. A must-try!

The 'real' bhang shop is just outside and left of the first fort gate as you exit. The above photo of the shop is of the wrong bhang shop; Dr Bhang's shop is now (confusingly) called Lassi Shop, and it's a little green hole in the wall. You can ask Dr Bhang about the name change, he'll explain.

Dr Bhang's a cool guy, he was not only a source of good times but also a great source of info on Jaisalmer so make sure you have a chat when you visit :)

A unique shop!
I have seen such shops elsewhere but this one takes the cake (no pun intended). It offers a great assortment of goodies with bhang as an ingredient - hot beverages, cold ones, in powder form, as a sweet paste etc.
A unique experience indeed!

Went to this shop and was curious to try bhang In India, but to he honest was very disappointed with the result. Was told to have 1 cookie or a half to start to feel effect, did this and felt nothing, ended up having 4 back at the hotel in 2 hours still with no effect..... 280rupee's for 4 plain biscuit's is rather expensive!!!!
