“A very nice and reasonable hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

It is a very nice hotel, total value for money , the rooms are nice and clean well furnished and they have a nice roof top restaurant and a good coffee shop too.
The staff was really helpful and fiendly and the location of the hotel is perfect its very close to the fort and all other important visiting points in the city and they will also help you to arrange transport to other tourist attractions.

Stayed here in Dec 2012 for two nights. We arrived a day earlier than our booking day and welcome was great and rooms were available so were offered right away. Room had a great decor, truly Rajasthani experience.

They have two properties - One has a view of the Fort from rooftop and the other one is new property just 5 mins from the first one.

We stayed first night at the new property and room was great. Since this was new property, few of the facilities were not available and we shifted to the first property the next day.

This property has great view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant. Rooms are great.
Rooftop restaurant is great - delicious food - must try cheese naan.

Overall stay was great at this hotel and would definitely stay here on my next visit to Jaisalmer.

On the day we checked out, we were going to visit Sand dunes and we had at least 3 bags and hotel offered us to keep the luggage in their cloak room till the next day when we are back in Jaisalmer and did not charge for the same. Also when we returned back from Sand dunes next day, they provided us a room for few hours to relax and freshen up.- Great hospitality. We had few hours left before catching train to Jaipur.

With this tariff, service is great and definitely worth the pay.

Stayed at the Royale in November 2012. The welcome at reception was great, the room was amazingly colourful, comfortable and clean. All the staff were friendly. Very good location. Harish and his team made the stay very memorable.

I travelled to Rajasthan with my family in November 2012 and stayed at this hotel in Jaisalmer, on the recommendation of one of my very close and trusted friend. I cannot thank enough for the recommendation.

This hotel has a very typical 'haveli' look as it is made with the Jaisalmer stone and adorns the local architecture. A warm welcome on arrival by the owner of the hotel itself, was something I did not expect and have not experienced before.

We had a Maharaja Suite for us to stay, the room was very clean, spacious and had exquisite furniture. The windows once opened, overlooked the magnificient Jaisalmer fort, which looked very golden in the morning sunlight.

The food here is mostly vegetarian, but they can arrange non-vegetarian food on request at very short time. Rajasthan is known for vegetarian culinary and we are dying fan of it. The "Ker-Sangri" that they cook in their roof-top restaurant here is a must have.

The staff in this hotel was very friendly and prompt, always eager to serve. They also have their own coffee and pastries shop just next-door.

This hotel also has a swimming pool on the ground floor, which is very well maintained.

The market and the shopping area is just at a walking distance.

I would highly recommend this hotel for those who want to have a royal experience.

Room Tip: There are special cottage rooms overlooking the pool on the ground floor, but they do not have the v...
