“Real Heritage Palace at most reasonable Price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

We stayed at their Suite Rooms for 2 nights….

My room no was 301…..its best room of hotel

If you are traveling with kid this is the best room as its approx 500 sq ft room
They have provided a “ swing” in your room !!!!!!!!!! ( check out my photo shared)
Huge bath tub…..
And most beautiful king bed with steps to climb on it.

I also checked Deluxe room those was also nice ones with bath tubs and decorated and t.
Sharing those photos too………

I will say one will never get a Heritage Palace in this price anywhere in Rajashthan……..

We loved the food hear ……it was of BIKAJI standards ….
they offer bikanare’s famous
Bhujiya complimentary in dinner and lunch……

Will love to stay hear again.

Room Tip: i loved room no 301....But Deluxe rooms are also too good.......

Booked this hotel directly and stayed during last year Christmas break along with friends and family.

UPS :

1. Competitive rate when booked directly and if possible in groups
2. Spacious Room and well decorated with modern amenities and comfortable bed
3. Centralised Air Conditioning
4. Children Activity Area with park / lawn area
5. Hint of heritage in terms of design, placement of antiques, paintings at various corners of hotel gives a royal feeling

DOWNS :

1. Missing LCD / LED. Rooms are provided with conventional CRT Televisions
2. Room service and in house restaurant are not at all pocket friendly
3. Hotel is located in a far distant area, few kilometers away from the heart of the city. Further, one needs to cross around 250 meters of barren land to reach this hotel.
4. No quality convenience shop located in walking distance near to hotel
5. Only preferred transport mode to travel between hotel and city is by Auto Rickshaw
6. Bit far away from Bikaner Railway Station

VERDICT :

Barring the few negatives as mentioned above, this hotel is worth to stay. Choose this unless you have inclination towards a hotel based in the heart of city or close to Bikaner Railway Station.

Room Tip: Prefer a room in the ground floor overlooking the park / lawn area. Avoid dining at in house restaur...

If you are planning to stay indoor in the comfort zone of your hotel room for major part of your stay then I wouldn't recommend this hotel.Service is just about average. We had been there in the month of August which happened to be an off season. So we enjoyed a considerable discount on the room rate but room service was not available which again is a drawback.Owned by the Bikaji group this hotel is good in terms of decor. We had opted for the Royal Deluxe Double and found it comfortable and capacious for a decent 3 night stay. The menu is again average in terms of quality and service.

Room Tip: The rooms are all garden facing and provides a good view.

Next week shall be my fourth trip to Bikaner in less than one year and it shall be my fourth time stay at the beautiful Basant Vihar Palace Hotel, Bikaner.
I love staying there as it it is away from the hustle and bustle of the crowed city area. It is off the main road thus very quiet , yet it is approachable for any transport you might need to visit the various historical places as well as to business areas.
The hospitality is very warm and has a personalized touch, they serve only vegetarian food and it is just amazing.
I usually request an early check in to be able to freshen-up for the day and have always been accommodated most graciously. The staff are always attentive to your needs and serve with a smile .
The lawns are well kept and the rooms are well decorated with ethnic ambiance packed with modern amenities such as flat TV, mini bar, excellent air conditioning, good modern clean bathrooms.
I would strongly recommend this hotel to any traveler who loves the feel of a compact palace with great food, modern amenities, great value for money and does not get lost in a huge hotel where he is just another hotel number.

I stayed one night and was glad I wasn't staying longer. The hotel is in need of refurbishment. My door would not close, the water in the sink came out the bottom of the pipe onto my feet and service was very slow. I fortunately had a car and driver otherwise it is a way out from the Fort and town.

The location seems a bit out of the way and we had to keep asking how to reach. The hotel looks grand and quiet and is reasonably priced; its owned by Bikaji group (Bikaner Bhujiyawala). They have a huge maintained lawn which my young one loved running around.

Breakfast is complimentary, though basic but sufficient. Their restaurant is large and seems impressive like those huge ball rooms of past era. Dinner has A-al-carte option which surprisingly as per earlier reviews wasn't available. Food was average and reasonably priced.

Hotel staff was helpful but could be more professional for a heritage property of this nature. There was no local entertainment i.e Rajasthani music or puppet show which was quite disappointing.

I feel this place is not more than one night stay as there is nothing else to do in the property.

The staff were quite courteous & accomodating. The food was very good, cooked in Rajasthani style.
Location is inconvenient for people not having their own transport.
Rooms are furnished in traditional style.
