I stayed at the Royal Orchid Golden Suites quite a few times, the last being in April-May 2009. Since our stay at Pune was for business purposes, it was good that ROGS offered our company a corporate rate.
The booking process over email was quick & efficient. Airport transfer is available free of cost and the service is good. Checkin at the hotel is fast and the staff are warm and courteous. During our stay which lasted for over a couple of weeks we felt it was like a home to us.
Rooms are spacious and with all the amenities which one normally requires. The furnishings are good and housekeeping service is prompt. However during our last stay we noticed that some toiletries items were provided only on request.
We never tried room service during our stay. The hotel provides a complimentary buffet breakfast with a wide spread including Indian & Continental fares. Dinner is same and is equally good. Restaurant service is prompt and courteous.
Last but not the least I would always remember our stay in feb 2009 when they arranged a surprise cake at the restaurant on my birthday. It makes you feel really good.
Royal Orchid is a real value for money hotel because of the location & its service.

I have just returned from a trip to Pune, India.

I stayed nine days in Royal Orchid and I found it as a high quality hotel what gomes to suites, service and restaurant.

My suite consist of bed room, living room and palcony. The room was provided with a WLAN service.

The resepton helped always in an effective and polite way. E.g. I could phone them from the city and they gave me the assistance I needed.

Breacfasts were quite plentiful, but a bit problematic for Europian people. But I always found something I was satisfied with. There were variety in a selection every day. Staff was really helpfull and they e.g. arranged us in the evening an extra table on the palcony while all the existing tables were occupied.

Airport pick ups were functioning fine.

Also a cost/ quality ratio was on a very reasonable level.

So I found my stay in the hotel very pleasant one.

I stay in this hotel atleast for 3 days in a week..To start with ,Royal orchid golden suites,pune is lovely hotel to stay.. the experience starts from the the time chauffer comes to the airport for pick up.. He will welcome u with Greetings and a big smile :-), so helpul and yes very professional.. I am a Cabin crew , so he never forgets to ask me how my flight was? ths wow...

when u reach the hotel, u will always find the recception staff smiling and they address u by ur name.. thts really kool !!

ur keys r ready already.. hey thts too quick.. the rooms are so huge and very well equipped... u have all the amenities in ur room..

laundry service, In room dining services are very quick.. they are very professional.. evryone makes u feel at home..

The restaurant KASBA.. is d best place to have lunch and dinner as they offer all choices of food.. the staff in kasba are very polite, professional, on their toes to help their guests, very proactive.. I was surprised to see their professionalism.. I completely believe tht they have the BEST FOOD SERVED COMPARED TO ANY RESTAURANTS IN PUNE..

Also would lyk to mention tht the staff calls u to check whether u r comfortable and if u need anything.. thts so kooll.. they take gud care of their guests.. Its the best hotel i have ever stayed..

The hotel is hust 5mins away from the pune airport.. The hotel is surrounded with malls, cinema theatres...

I can go on writing about this hotel... As i always had a awesome and memorable experience..

Its a Business Hotel. Rooms are very nicely done.u can relax in living area of ur room for hours..Food served in room service was of high quality and taste.(I ordered for Jamaican fish). though variety in morning buffet is lil less.Wi fi is just for Rs. 149/- for 24 hrs and connectivity is superb..altogether i will rate it 9/10.
