As a regular traveller, I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions - the first time being in 2005. I will be visiting Pune again next week and have selected this hotel for an Asian Pacific regional workshop.

Everything about the hotel I find appealing. All of the staff are polite, efficient and friendly. The decor and clealiness is excellent and I am looking forward to my stay here again.

Well worth a visit. You are made very welcome and the staff are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Pune is a great place to visit. Roof restaurant by the swimming pool, good gym, great restaurants and bar. Go on - check it out!

I stayed at the Central Park for 5 nights on my first visit to India in early Feb of 07. I found the entire place clean, well managed and in generally good shape. The rooms smelled of mothballs (which is common) but was typically cleaned well each day including the bathrooms. The beds were uncomfortable but really didn't cause me any problems sleeping.

The restuarant was great. I ate breakfast every morning which included a selection of Indian and traditional western breakfast food. Once I had dinner there (I mostly ate dinner at places around Pune). Ironically the simple pasta I ordered was fantastic, but that may have been a reaction to needing a break from the overindulgence of local food and tastes from the previous few days more than anything else.

Traffic noise is certainly an issue. I was on the corner of the hotel overlooking the INOX theaters and the McDonalds. I think noise is an issue regardless of where your room is.

The staff was generally very helpful. Sometimes they seemed to try too hard. For instance, once the morning restaurant staff gets to know you (and whether it's coffee or tea or how you want an omelete) they tend to relax a bit.

I did use the gym on the sixth floor every morning. It's ok, better than I would have expected. Two treadmills, a bike and a series of benches and dumbbells. The attendant there is very helpful.

Likely I will be back in Pune and I will try to arrange to stay here on my return trip.

This is a terrible hotel I stayed in Pune in Feb 07. It is no where near 4 star hotel ever. The best rate I can give is probably 2.5 star. And their price is unreasonably high.

The room is very small, smelly and not clean. Not enough toiletries. noisy as the traffic outside is heavy. I could also hear clearly what happened next door and upstairs as the wall is quite thin.

Restaurant is terribly. The only positive sign of the hotel is that the hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help, but they also just stop at willingness.

Very disappointed stay comparing with last stay at Taj Blue Diamond.

Just back from a Trip to Pune, India. First time in this country and it is certainly a different place. This hotel is close to the centre of Pune, about 5 mins from the railway station but in a quieter area. It is clean and the service was great.

Did not use the restaurant as I ate at some of the great restaurants in Pune. But did have breakfast and that was fine.

Rooms are spacious with bath/shower and everything you need. They put mothballs all over the place and I am still trying to get the smell out of my clothes but this maybe comman in India, I do not know.

All in all a good experience and a hotel I would recommend at a good rate
