“Ok Property , Noisy Surroundings, Cheap Rates so Over ALL JUST FINE”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

I stayed at 2 nd floor, the room was facing to another building thus cannot open curtains, need to be in closed curtain, the disadvantage of this property is that it is not big property and is covered by buildings from 3 sides and 1 side is road thus it makes very noisy enviornment.

Another thing i notices was the hotel has good buffet and so thats a addition to this place

Staff is ok, not too friendly but just okei.

over all decent place to sleep without frills.

Clean, economical business hotel with modern bathrooms. The bed is comfortable, but you will not get good sleep as since the road traffic noise is overwhelming!!!
Food is good, buffet breakfast sumptuous with many options.
Central location next to the Shivajinagar bus stand and opposite to All India Radio.

Ensure to carry noise-cancellation headphones or ear bud headphones to blank out the traffic noise.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms which face away from the road

A promising hotel in a great location. Service started well. But the toilet in my room was filthy when I checked in, and when I called reception to complain, I was told to call housekeeping! One entire side of the building faces the main road which is very noisy and the windows are not sound-proofed - bad luck if you get a room on this side, you might have trouble sleeping.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing away from the noisy main road.

The hotel is at a stone's throw from Shivaji Nagar station (Pune's suburban area) and adequately priced. These were the only two reasons for me to stay in this hotel. Nevertheless, the experience was much better than expected.

I was impressed with the way architect had designed and utilized the space. In spite of located in very busy lane, the hotel has parking space, small area for walk and a beautiful small temple. The carpet and tapestry are bit dirty in the lobby and restaurant. You may also experience moisture smell during rainy season.

Rooms are nicely planned with adequate lights and spacious bathroom. Room service and hospitality was good. AC cooling is little slow, Internet is terribly slow :) Breakfast spread was fine.

Room Tip: The main road facing rooms are noisy due to continuous flow of traffic.

Good property, nice and lovely food, modest hospitality staff, clean rooms....

stayed for 2 days and 1 night but were forced to pay for 3 days and 2 nights due to falsified and cheating manager, the HR member called Mr. SomnAth, committed something else while lodging in and denied totally at the time of check out, had horrible and total ruined up experience ........
made the stay unpleasant and completely unacceptable.....

he is usually available at night, beware of him if you check in during his shift, he would say anything to attract you to check in but would cheat at the time of check out......

Henceforth, I say no to Centurion Hotel, Shivaji Nagar, Pune....

If you go then be ready to be cheated for sure.....

Dear Guest,

Greetings from Centurion Group of Hotels!!!

It is our consistent endeavor to place our guest foremost and delight them with our services.

We believe in having our guests reside with us for their business or a personal visit and depart with a zeal for their subsequent stays at The Centurion Group of Hotels.

Sir, your feedback comes to as a valued lesson in handling shortcoming of guest’s understanding of the hotel’s accommodation policy and I take this opportunity in highlighting general standard widely agreed and practiced by the hoteliers,

Sir, I wish to draw attention to few important points;
• You checked in to the hotel on 05th August 2012 was at 0301 HRS i.e. very early morning on 05/08/2012 and 09 hours prior to our check in time
• You checked out was on 06th August 2012 at 1741 HRS i.e. by day end of 06/08/2012 and late checkout by approximately 06 hours after our checkout time
• Sir you had occupied our hotel room for 39 hours and our check in / out time is 1200 noon
• Sir, you were informed that your breakfast on 05/08/2012 will be complimentary at the restaurant as you have been checked in to the hotel as per standard early morning check-in policy; for the same you had agreed and had signed our Guest Registration Card where our check In / Out time is mention right next to your signature
• Our room key card jacket (Holder) also carry the details of our check in / out time along with a copy of hotel policy or house rule which is printed and kept in each room next to the television; clearly visible to all
Sir, when a hotel has 1200 noon as its check in / out time,
• Arrival at 0301 HRS is charged for one day prior too. As in your case, you were charged for 04/08/2012 for early check-in
• Departure at 1741 HRS also attract charges, when the check-out is at 1200 noon
Thus, we have charged you for,
• 04th, 5th and half day for 6th August 2012; which is as per the information shared and acknowledge by you with your signature while checking in to the hotel
Sir, we contemplate your allegation and your thoughts while you were checking out of the hotel, where you refused to co-operate and created a muddle in our hotel lobby when you did not succeed to corner our standard hotel rules and also threatened us of using social networking for sullying the hotel’s reputation, if we do not act as desired by you.

We are profoundly impaired with your action which is flawed.

Sir, social media sights also gives us a platform in correcting any misinterpretation and discomfort in the relation. We will at all times welcome you with affection and warmth to our hotel for all your future stay with us.

Thank You,

Warm Regards,
Tushar Kamble

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. Apt for a short stay of 02 0r 03 nights. Neat and spacious room for 02. There are 02 hotels in the same name at diff. locations so be sure where you are going. i went to the wrong place but the staff was courteous to arrange a free drop at the right place.

Food is good for a business stay. It would be good if you reserve your transfers too as reaching from airport even on a prepaid taxi is quite hectic.

Definitely a good option on my next visit too .

Room Tip: Get your voucher and hotel location right as there are more than one hotels in the same name.
