“Good Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

Had been to Paradise Country sometime last year in May.
I had gone with friends, stayed only for a night which is enough for this place.
Rooms are spacious. Service and food is also good. Starters were very tasty. Food was also good.

The location is the USP of this place. You can take a walk around the hills in the morning. Good for photography.

If you are looking for a peaceful place around Pune, this is one good option..

Just back from Paradise resort....Been there for 1 day with my family....To start of....There is no network coverage except Idea...This place is difficult to spot but its an amazing place to be....The main problem is this place is not explored...Not many people visit this place as its a bit cut off & not many attractions close by....The place is a bit low on maintenance as well especially the pool....Now the main part....
THIS PLACE IS HEAVEN....Secluded, away from hustle & bustle but just 45 kms from Pune city. There is so much of peace that you will just love it...The rooms are huge & are well ventilated. Suprisingly there was no power cut...So AC was on the entire night....The Food is fabulous..The cook is an extraordinary guy...We ordered pure veg but all the items in Menu were available....But trust me it was lip smacking food....Huge quantity with good quality...
The staff are very courteous & caring..You just feel like at home.....This place is very reasonable & is a must visit...We are already planning our next trip...

Room Tip: 1) Idea phone 2) Carry your own Booze if you intend to drink....But trust me you dont need it...Its...

Was there with on a weekday 16th dec 2011. best thing there is no network for mobile(except Idea) altought they have a landline which helps u to connect. we were the alone guest at the hotel. slightely difficulte to locate but locals help you to find it. staff there is very helpful and coutrious. in the begining you might feel a bit unsafe. food is excellant as in this remote place i did not excepect such good food. kerala cottages are great. get you drinks alone so alcohol is served over there. good generator back up. hygine and cleaniness is good.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2011

I happened to visit Paradise country on 22nd May along with my Family. We did a one day stay. Overall the experience was mixed. The location is bit remote and difficult to locate but it is quite beautiful once you reach there. The rooms and studio cottages were good and clean, importantly AC's were operational throughout the day despite of power cuts. They have good generator backup systems. The quality and quantity of food served was good. Also the prices of room and food were reasonable. Cottage tariff is 1990/-per day. The cottages were very well designed and all the facilities were excellent. The innovative concept of Kerala cottage is also good.

The hygiene and cleanliness at restaurant was poor. Other facilities like games, swimming pool and overall service were average.

Overall it was a mixed experience.

This place is right in the middle of the hills n is such a pleasant getaway from the city's everyday hustle bustle. The resort is ideal for anyone who is looking for a quite time with family or a special someone. The rooms r well kept n clean, especially the kelera style ones.(excellent for couples) The staff are courteous n service oriented however there's not much to do around apart from relaxing. The resort has a pool but is unkept, making it difficult to swim. Food is quite good. It has a homely touch to it. Must try, dal tadka n sukkha chicken. Worth every penny!

A nice scenic place called Kadwe, 45 KMS from Pune near a small town called Panchet, took us a little more than an hour to rech the resort - Paradise Country. I'll call it a scenic place that lacks a sense of security, that we realized a day after we reached the resort. The resort doesn't have a service that can be called professional. Most mobile network doesn't work in and around the resort. Inspite of checking into an AC room we spent 12 hours without it because of an acute power shortage. Resort has a power back up but which is not sufficient to Run AC's. We did spend a comfortable evening near the pool but ended up losing all our monies when we reached our room. We have actually got our wallets cleaned. The resort obviously did not take the responsibility for the theft. The police was called and it was suggested that people who live in/near pune can file a FIR. The owner was aggressive and showcased mistrust when he got to know about the theft. We
ended up cutting short our trip.

A few of my learnings and observations, pls check on the authenticity of the resort before booking. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR BELONGING
