“Good ambience, well away from any attractions”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Location was a fair distance from any attraction (useful because we had a driver) which was both a positive and a negative, as it made you feel you were in an oasis. Pool was nice (could be cleaned more often), and hotel was peaceful. Wifi did not work inside rooms, and only occasionally otherwise. Given price of hotel, wifi connection could have been better.

Overall was a nice place to stay, but would happily stay more central and cheaper on next visit.

We had a wonderful four day stay at The Meadows. The cottages are aesthetically situated in a beautiful, park-like setting full of song birds. Our deluxe room was very clean and comfortable with wifi and a great shower. The staff is well trained and very friendly. They made us feel very welcomed. Having just arrived in India, we took a day to relax by the pool and even had a message. The spa has a beautiful library, an exercise gym room, a yoga tent, and knowledgeable practitioners. The meals we had at the restaurant were excellent. We congratulate their chef for turning out delicious, well thought out and presented, fresh meals. All in all we highly recommend this resort!

Room Tip: The wifi reception is better in the cottages closer to the front desk.

I had booked this hotel on a Travel website and reached there on the 29th October for attending a conference in this historic city. The hotel is located about 40 minutes drive from the airport on the Mumbai highway with hills on both sides. It is a resort away from the city with both superior and economy rooms. It has a huge lawn, well equipped gym and a swimming pool which was under maintenance.
The entire staff was extremely cordial. The restaurant was big for a hotel of this size and I really liked the gym. Bicycles are available for the guests , but it seems they require to be fixed as probably hardly any one uses them. I also liked the mixed vegetable preparation that i had. The laundry prices are very much affordable . Finally if you are intending to stay at the hotel , the front desk can arrange pick up,drop and local vehicle at a good price.

The location is really great. There are quite a few cottages in very tranquil setting, with trees all around, nice little pathways make you feel like in a park. However, the feel to the room is quite basic. It's small details which are lacking and reduced the rating from 5 to 4 - the first night our room didn't have soap, the tablecloth at the breakfast were super dirty. It would have been much better if they would have taken those tablecloth away completely. Food at the restaurant is decent, but not great. The same goes for the breakfast.
It is definitely value for money, but there is also room for improvement on the managing part of the place.
I do not recommend the spa though. Even though they've written all the right stuff about treatments, the implementation is very far from expectations. Instead of foot reflexology I got leg (or more precisely calf) massage and bruises the next day.

The location is great, if you want to visit Ellora. It is located right on the Ellora road, about 5km out of Aurangabad. But you have to keep your eyes peeled out to find the place. Google maps has it with about 2km distance and the sign near the entrance is quite small and visible only if you come from Aurangabad, so we had to spend quite some time to find the place.

Home away from home it blends with the natural wonderful weather you can have privacy and complete peace of mind can relax .
It's a huge property and without doubt one of the best HOTEL in Aurangabad . We had our medical college reunion at the MEADOWS...the room is big with a large bed and a lovely sit out. But rooms need to refurbish .Party hall &Food was excellent with a variety of veg and non veg items. The staff are courteous and helpful. We loved sitting at poolside. Overall highly recommended. An excellent monsoon relaxing destination.

Bad parts:
1) Costly if compared to the city in where its located
2) Service in room and reception is severely slow. If you call to get anything, they will take at least 30 minute each time.
3) Food menu is limited and costly to match with 5 star cost
4) No Internet access against as published over Cleartrip
5) No newspaper against as published over Cleartrip
6) The footwear could only be get if you call reception multiple times
7) They put 1 bath robe for multiple people, unless you call reception and ask for
8) Bad room service, though staff is polite
9) Charge huge for taxi drops
10)AC needs up gradation to split AC against the current window humming machines
11) Many rooms, ceilings need repainting as the paint is coming out in rooms

Good parts:
1) Nice idea/theme, but implementation has to be better
2) Good gardens, swimming pool, gym

Room Tip: The ones facing lawn, swimming pools and the end of the resort are very peaceful.

We greatly regret any discomfort our guest has experienced. I will be looking into this matter personally and the hotel will revert with a detailed response - on Trip Advisor, and to the guest personally
