“A very convenient option.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

A convenient option to stay be it for business or leisure. Location is very good, all options of railway station or bus depot are nearby. Rooms are okay for the size & prize they are offered for. Food is good old pure vegetarian stuff at reasonable price.
Room service at times can get annoying but other than that it is okay if one is a bit patient.

Room Tip: Avoid taking the main road or bus depot facing rooms as they can be noisy.

We stayed in this hotel for travelling to Ajanta and Ellora caves. Good central location, and you should only pay about 30-40 r to get from train to hotel. They have thier own bus station here, and has travel booking etc. Staff is nice, place has a Hostel feel. Bad points: no one seemed to mention the traffic noise! I would not have booked if I had known! I have stayed on places facing streets in Delhi, and pretty much everywhere else-but nothing compares to this. We were on second floor facing street, and I couldn't hear my husband when he spoke to me a couple time the trucks and horns were so loud. Earplugs muffle a bit, but this was not OK. Not sure if it would have been better at back? Hotel itself clean, but used towels in room when we checked in...had to ask for ones. Bed was clean though. Hard, but big bed. Not horrible if you are just spending night travelling through.

The staff was Polite and helping. The room was big and clean room over all service was very good for that price. Privet buses halt at the Hotel and State transport bus station near by is definitely an advantage. Food wise good Gujarati Thali at reasonable price is available.

Room Tip: The room the back side is quiet

Dear All,

Location of hotel is very good for Ajanta & Ellora trip. Management is very poor. Staff is very arrogant. Food charges are very high but food quality is really bad. I had to order food from Dominos on second day. They never response your query immediately. Now have to call them atleast twice. TV was not working in our room too.

To Save credit card charges, they accept only cash. If you have credit / Debit card then you have to pay extra charges, not hotel.

Regards,
Vikram

Aurangabad is famous tourist place in Marathwada region in the state of Mahrashtra. It has few of famous historical place Biwi ka Maqbara, Panchakki , Ajanta & Ellora ( World heritage declared by UNESCO).
Ajanta was built in 2nd BC and is 105 KMS from Aurangabad, While Ellora was built in 5th Century and is just 29 Kms away.
This city is famous for historical place and also this is commercial hub of Marathwada region. This city houses large number of hotels which can suite pockets of every category.
Man Mandir is budget business hotel in the heart of Aurangabad, right opposite to district court. Since this place lies in the heart of city any location like Railway station, Bus Stand, Tourist attraction are hardly in the range of 15-20 Min drive.
An ideal place to stay for both business traveler and tourist provided who only demands clean Air-conditioned room to stay not other amenities like swimming pool , Gym etc. Rooms are clean and spacious & air conditioned, Beds are good, LCD screen for entertainment and clean-big washroom.
Food of this hotel is very good, do try Veg Tandori platter marinated in tasty indian spices and grilled I bet you will relish this food and will thank me.
Don’t forget to visit Tara Pan Centre , Pan of this place is famous they even prepare pan worth 3000.00 called Kohinoor Pan for honeymoon couple. I was surprised to see this cost but this the fact. However you can get Pan for Rs15.00 as well do try Magai Pan.
Overall I would rate this hotel good for all people who demands hygienic and comfortable budget stay.

Its relatively good hotel. Problem with Aurangabad is that there are no good hotels here, mostly they are 20 years old or so, not at all well maintained. This hotel was ok, it is on the main road, location wise ok, also as they have there own bus depot, you can get connecting buses to your forward journeys. Restaurant is also ok.

One of the best hotel for business traveler. Rooms are neat and clean. Best part is they have their own bus terminus. Will come again. Will try to make a family lesire trip to this hotel. I was given Ellora Exe Room with LCD TV and Split A/c. I recomed this Hotel to every visitor to Aurangabad city
