“Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

Took our 5th wheel to Bonito Hollow. The Staff was great. Gary stopped by every day to make sure everything was fine. Nice Facilities, Newly rebuilt bath house (old one burned). Great location. Liked the layout of the park. Nice play areas. Saw plenty of other "Campgrounds" in the Ruidoso area. Some were nothing more than a parking lot setup for RV's. I am planning on making Bonito Hollow a once a year stop for our RV adventures.

The stay here at Bonito Hollow was absolutely wonderful. My family and I were able to make many good memories to cherish. To the hiking, horseshoes, volleyball , stream, and cute park, there's something for everyone to do. Bathhouse is clean and accessible. The have a store that has different things, along with outdoor games you can check out, a dvd and book exchange. The best thing about this park is, the staff was absolutely amazing. It is definitely nice to see people with smiles on there faces. This park is very kid friendly , and pet friendly, but they inforce all park rules to make sure everyone can enjoy their stay. Highly recommended!

we found this place by accident. in all my years I have never been happier. it was peacefull and beautifull but what really made it special was the owners and staff they really care and are special people who want the best for their customers. they go out of there for you. this place is the best if you have kids or animals. it was just so nice to see all the there playing and laughing. it is really hard to describe how wonderfoll this place is. and iam not one to right reviews but our stay there was special.

July 19, 2013 We travel quite a bit and this park had some of the nicest people we have ever run across. The people who run this park were so helpful even cut some tree limbs to get our 5th wheel in. they are so kid & pet friendly . in all our travels we have never encountered such nice people.....We already made another reservation because of the people who run it....I would recommend this to anyone that is family Its a beautiful spot and they are working on improvements....

Bonita Hollow is the best park we've ever stayed in. I can't believe how the owners manage to accommodate as we watched the park fill up for July 4th! They go all out with events for kids and they have the best Hawaiin shaved ice! They are building back so fast since the fire! Awesome bath house and pavilion! I have already booked a year ahead because this park s a winner all the way around!

We stayed at Bonito July 3-7 and it was amazing! The camp hosts, the Humphries', go out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Wildlife came through the park each day. It was cool in the daytime and just chilly in the evenings. It rained a little every day and the area has greened up! We enjoyed the Independence Day parade in the park starring the guests, and they had rock painting, sand art, and three legged races for the kids. The staff presented a Bear Awareness program, and the weekend was topped off with a pot luck dinner and an awesome evening of karaoke and dancing under the new pavilion. The park has a strictly enforced quiet time beginning at 10 pm, and the karaoke and dancing concluded at 9:55. This Rv Park has made an amazing recovery since the Little Bear fire. The damage to the facilities had been replaced and they have built it back better than it was. These amazing hosts/owners are using lots of wood reclaimed from trees that were burned in the forest fire to rebuild. If you are planning a visit to the mountains of New Mexico, don't miss the Bonito Hollow Rv Park. It will be one of the best places you have ever stayed!

Room Tip: Since it is an Rv Park, ask for what you enjoy. The creek flows along one side, it has sites that b...

We camped here in a motorhome with two small children. The grounds are nice and even though there was a massive fire last year, it isn't really evident inside the campground. There are still trees and some grass. They could use more trees to add privacy between sites, but this is an RV park... You can walk along a small stream which is nice. The staff was friendly.

Our only complaint was that they advertised wifi, but it was not available anywhere in the park.
