“Spent most of the time in this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

This restaurant is in the perfect location with great staff and good quality food and drinks. We would start with juice before yoga, than lunch or dinner. My favorite was lemon cake!

“Good breakfast & coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

We were in Varkala in early Nov. 2012 & enjoyed Abba a couple of times. Whilst my husband enjoys a more traditional English approach to breakfast/brunch, I on the other hand prefer spicy noodles or curry!! Abba was the only place we tried that could serve me what I wanted before 12 noon, so I was absolute happiness & set for a great day in Varkala. My husband also enjoyed his choice of brunch & the coffee was good.

“If you're in Varkal, go and find Abba Restaurant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Abba Restaurant is on the cliff and the Green Palace complex. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. An army of young men slave away in the kitchen and at the tables, they are always cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed superb curries, fish dishes, lovely breakfasts, tandoori and home made bakery. Really, we could find no fault and our bill at the end was always very reasonable. Our only suggestion for improvement would be name badges. We appreciated the service so much that we would have liked to have thanked the boys by name every time they served us. This restaurant is definitely one of the places you visit first on your trip to the cliff, you'll keep going back I'm sure.
