“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Matancherry Palace museum has an extensive exhibition which is definitely worth a look while you're in town. Although rather impossible to go through all the details of history of the town and its rulers, the exhibits are interesting and the murals are great and well described. No photos allowed inside the museum. Small entrance fee (5 rupees). Recommended

It is a nice place to visit if you are interested to know about the history of cochin and its rulers. It is more of a museum.

“Must visit for the murals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

Well worth the visit. Small palace that contains a lot of history. The paintings depicting ramayana were interesting as were the portraits and life of the kings
