Good wonderful home in a good place next to the amazing fish restaurant oceanos.
The staff was very helpful. An amazing fresh breakfast made by two Sweet lady's. Bread, eggs, fruits jam, coffee Thea and daily fresh juice. The rooms were clean with a good comfort bed. And is was on walking distance to the sea and church and the shops. Two weeks there was a real holiday. Thank you again.

Good hotel in a good location. Attractions close. Hotel has very good restaurant. Staff very helpful. Nice shower with constant hot water. Only downside was our room was very close the restaurant which meant it could be noisy at times.

This wonderful little home away from home as they appropriately call is located in what I would call as a perfect place in this quint little town called Fort Kochi. It is at a walking distance from the St. francis church and its surrounding main heritage town while at the same time being sufficiently far away from the buzzle of the market din. The place is cozy and wecoming and glows with the warmth of the hosts who run the place. The restaurant attached is great as alluded to in the other reviews the breakfast is complimentary and great. So go ahead and book your stay and the only regret you will have is that you hadnt stayed longer. Cheers.

We stayed in the budget room behind the check in desk, which was excellent value and perfect for our very short stay. We arrived straight from the airport at 5am and had no trouble checking in at that hour (we had booked the room for the previous night). The guy at the desk knew all we wanted to do was sleep and let us into our room straight away. Location is good, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach. The guys working there are friendly, made good recommendations for dinner and let us in on the secret that the ferry is by far the quickest way to get to Ernakulum. The only minor issue we faced was trouble getting hot water one morning, but this is to be expected really and is no big deal in 30 degree heat.

The room we ended up staying in was beautiful, just like the pictures here and spotelessly clean. However, we booked in advance through booking.com and didn't realize that we had paid for the building's only "Budget" room, which is located just behind the check-in desk and is indeed very basic. Realizing that the room we booked was nothing like the pictures, we asked if we could be upgraded because this wasn't clear at the time of booking. The guy at the desk, Ahmad, called the manager and informed us that this would be possible. We were put in a deluxe room, which was really nice, and we were very happy. The stay was great, but when we checked out, we were informed that we needed to pay the cost of the deluxe room, which was over double the budget price. We protested that this wasn't clear at check in and finally paid 2400, which was still more than the 1500 we had booked. The room was nice, and we appreciate the upgrade, but we wish there was more clarity in what we were required to pay.

Room Tip: Don't stay in the budget room, it's not worth more than Rs 800

One of the best places to stay in fort kochi, the atmosphere is homely with good staff and room. It has been maintained well and even the bathroom are well kept and neat, with hot water available round the clock.

The food at Ocenos restaurant which is situated in the same compound is the icing on the cake.It serves the best seafood cuisine around the area and hence is always packed to the hilt. The staff are very courteous and friendly. On the whole a cozy home stay at a reasonable price located walkable distance from the beach.

We faced small maintenance issues in the room like the charging plugs and one of the lights & TV not working, however we hardly stayed in the room except for a night cap so didn't affect much.
