“Easy to get obsessed with....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2015

I come her so often, maybe once a week, for the past year
Ontop if beautifully romantic surroundings, emphasized by fairy lights, coutyard and lit up pool, this restaurant and horel has staff that speak perfect English, a clean, well lit interior, nice toilets and most importantly AMAZINGLY MOUTH WATERING English, Indian and European food.
Very reasonably priced, 500 rs for steak, 499 for Kerala curry, 250 rs for a massive tomatoes and basil salad etc
Serves alcohol inc Champaign.
Free complementaries, always cassava chips and mini naan slices.
Water melin juice is excellent, as is the princess chocolate for desert

“Home cooked meals ”

We stayed here for two nights and ate every meal at the restaurant as it was so nice. Every meal was delicious chosen from a varied menu. A great introduction to real Indian food. Recommend a visit

“starters better than main courses”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2015

The restaurant benefits from outdoor space (although bites may be a risk) with a band playing on a stage by the pool.
The menu isn't particularity long so is light on veggie options.
I wouldn't recommend choosing the hotel for the restaurant - but the starters are tasty

“Great location, authentic old-world charm (including the snootiness) and good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2015

A small, elegant, heritage building on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. Arguably the best location in the city, and the restaurant - with garden seating - has a very pleasant ambience. There is a touch of snootiness about the place though, as they wouldn't give us garden seating even though we went at an odd hour and all but 2 (of about 10-12) tables were unoccupied. It was reserved for hotel guests, we were told. Fair enough, I suppose. We settled into the patio seating adjacent to the garden, and ordered a prawn starter and a bottle of wine, both of which were very good. Go to the place for the feel of it - one of those places you want to tick on your travel to-do list!
