“Amazing Cochin stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

This is a very tourist friendly hotel. Location besides Princess street is great and though in the middle of city it is extremely peaceful. Rooms were exceptionally clean, service very courteous and friendly.

Room Tip: Room no. 101 with a balcony, by far the best room in the hotel. Very quiet and relaxing.

This hotel is great value for money. Tucked away just off Princess Street, it is ideally located for exploring Fort Kochi. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable with balconies at the front and good Wi-Fi. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially the formidable Judie, a mine of information who can happily organise anything from taxis to train tickets.

location is not good, food is okay, rooms are small, service is good, only one persons runs the hotel he is the manager, the porter, the room service, the staff, the server in the restaurant. better to stay at other places if there is a longer stay. its near to the markets and restaurants.

The centrally located but oddly-named Fort Castle (it is indeed in Fort Kochi, but bears no relation to a castle) is not so much a hotel as a guest house. The staff, such as there were, were extremely friendly and helpful, and kept rooms and public areas extremely clean. There was a dining room, but only breakfast was served - tea or coffee, toast and marmalade, and a frankly uninspiring omelette. But there were newspapers to read. The rooms were modern and well-appointed, rather more so than some of the higher-end establishments we encountered. Altogether a very pleasant stay was had by my wife and me

Perfect location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms there is not much to complain about here. Only improvement could be the breakfast which wasn't as good as we'd had at other hotels, but overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Pleasant enough stay although the room was plagued by mosquitoes and the biggest cockroach either of us have ever seen! We eventually plugged all the plumbing openings to stop them from getting into the room. Fair enough we arrived late, but had the worst room immediately next to reception. It wasn't exactly good value for money although it is centrally located. We only stayed for one night and were thankful for it!

Room Tip: You can do better in Fort Kochi
