“Total Value for Money!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Very neat and clean place for folks on a budget. The family which runs the place is warm and welcoming. Breakfast is limited to options of eggs, toast, jam, butter, coffee/tea, porridge, corn flakes with hot or cold milk, however that was fine with us. It is a 5 min walk from Princess/Burgher Sts and walking distance from most sights around the Fort Cochin area. Hot water was available for 24 hours. Antony, the manager, helped to organize tickets for a back water cruise and taxis when we required it. Lunch or Dinner is not available, however there are lots of options around the area and should you wish to get food delivered, you can use the crockery from the kitchen and use the dining area. There is computer in the shared living room area, which folks can use. Double AC room costs Rs 1500 per day. All in all, a very nice convenient place to stay in Fort Cochin.

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and included hot water! Bed-sheets were spotless and there was ample space to hang clothes in the room.
Stayed at this hotel for a 3 days longer than I had planned since it was nice, clean and relaxing. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the main fort area where all the restaurants are located. Staff are very friendly.

Room Tip: Select one of the newer upstairs rooms that has a private balcony where breakfast is served!

Good value accomodation. 5 - 10 minutes walk from the centre of Fort Cochi. The rooms are very clean and reasonably priced (from Rs 300 in off season). Free WIFI in the lobby. Breakfast is served on an outside verandah. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Even the watchman has a smile everyday if you come back at night. Recomended.

We had a stay for some days. Antoni was helpful in guiding us to different restaurants in city to arranging for backwater trips. It is near by to beaches , Chinese fishing nets , churches , ferry station or ATM. Comfortable clean rooms. A budget hotel @ the centre of the city .

I stayed at the Vintage Inn for 7 nights which is possibly a little longer than the average visitor to Kochi. The location was OK for the attractions of Kochi, and the local shops. The room was large, I had a double to myself, and most important it was clean. There was a ceiling fan and an air conditioner in the room and a TV. Free access to the computer in the lounge was a bonus and the manager Antony and his staff were most helpful in arranging taxis. Breakfast on the alfresco balcony was very pleasant.

The staff is incredibly nice and greeted us at 2am with cold bottled water and smiles. The rooms are very basic but spacious. The bathrooms are clean. Room service was prompt and fairly tasty. The location was perfect for a ten minute walk to Princess Street. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The room was a little more basic than expected considering the good reviews this place gets here and in the guide books. But it was clean, fairly big and the service is very friendly. An extra plus for the guest computer in the lounge! Instead of a mosquito net above the bed, there were nets in the windows which is a good solution. Bathroom was tiny so gets completely wet when you shower. We had a nice breakfast (not included) early in the morning before we left. We ordered it the night before and it was delivered at the exact time and served in the garden (our choice).
